what person did start open tibia (OT) . there most be sombody:D
i hope this is the right forum

It is hard to say, because there was a thing called Tibia Emulator in Tibia 6.x series. But the real OpenTibia project (that one: SourceForge.net Repository - [opentibia] Index of /) was founded by Tliff (tliffrag), Shivoc, Spin (mips_act) and Sim0ne (otserv_simone).

yea that is true!

but...

TDA, made by Fando~ leaked by friends. The true story of TDA was a very confusing and sketchy story. Many people changed the name from TDA to TibiaDM, Tibia Death Match and so on. TDA was original made by Fando. He then gave OTserv Staff and good friends copies of the source and allowed them to play and edit it. After what seemed to be days everyone on the OTserv board found a copy of the old or beta versions of TDA. Then chaos began. Tliff and many others agreed that TDA and Tibia DM should not be posted on Tibia.de forums.

--- not important --
So any topics with the subject TDA or Tibia DM where gone forever. Now many thought wow TDA is gone :( sadness. Well as months went by Hak~, Exorid, DeathfireD, Fando secretly worked on what would turn out to be Tibia Dark Age V1.0. Hak Re-coded TDA's core and fixed many if not all the bugs you used to see. Fando made Multi levels work and also got Tibia Client 7.4 to work with the new version of TDA. Exorid made multi layer maps and edited them to fit TDAs needs. DeathfireD Works on web related things. He made this site and still works on it to this day. Tibia Dark Age was changed to The Dark Age to prevent Leagle issues with CIPsoft. Please remember Using CIPsofts Client is braking there rules.

ps. wasn't the first map editor made by Fandoras? :)

I remember when he left.
I also remember Pekay being made administrator.. Then losing it..

I also remember the first 'otserver'

I just know there are some that have marked his name in history as the Xenios (I think it is), with the evolutions server.

I remember too, that is a good one ots called PIONO, something like that. The best of the season.

I heard a while back a cipsoft member was kicked from the team and he took the files and then released them.. but i could be wrong.. i forgot where i heard it from "/

mmhmm i cant remember where i heard it, but my cousin told me about it last night, but i saw it on a couple of sites that a gm released them, like a personal member of the team was kicked but he had the files and he got revenged by releasing them.

Where are the main contributors to the fame of OpenTibia servers?! I mean Yurez for his YurOTS or Xidaozu for Evolutions? Ruly and others. Thanks to Devland, DeadTouch, Survival or Darkonia many people came to our community. Most of them were players on those distributions ;)
