Yeah, just as useless as all the paths to spawns and other decorative things, why not make a straight portals to square areas with monsters, that'd actually be useful!

For roleplay reasons, I guess. There is also a trash dump in Ab'Dendriel, if I remember correctly.

It was possible to walk through them. I noticed they changed the area:

You mean the boat construction site north-west?

They also made a new ship, full of new furniture. It can be accessed with a new path west of Venore's main ship.
