That scares you? :O It's the only command you have to do, and no need to go thru installations and download the packages like on Winblows.

Ye, XAMPP uses also Apache wich is great, also a Internal homepage (if you use it, then it's great.) But only for hosting a SQL server, like you said, mysql.
