Xenobot vs Windobot

windbot > xeno

xeno just made their bot worse with binary and more expensive LOL

When I first read about binary I thought it is amazing^^ Is it already live? What I thinl might be the problem - and that is, if you have pushed up the price - that some people, regardless of how operative and easy a bot can get, are only willing to pay a certain amount of money per month for a bot (e.g. 5$). Yes I know that binary will make things waaay easier and spare hours of work, however you have to also consider a price upgrade from the buissnessmans side. For 7.95$/month you can nearly play a subscription game which is often developed and maintained by a 50+ people and offers waaay more content. Sure it is not a tibia bot, but people tend to set some kind of deadlines when we speak about spending money: 5$ for my meal, 10$ for a game, 15$ for a tshirt... The guy who always buys the 5$ burger wont buy the new menu just because theres some new spices to it.

A bot is useless without scripts, most customers purchase paid scripts, we're providing thousands of dollars of scripts with the subscription.
XenoBot was one of the cheapest bots for the longest time, and it's now only $1 more than Windbot and it comes with a catalog of professional scripts and support.

Edit: and yes it is live.

By no means do I doubt the effictiveness of the latest update, I am just saying you might be loosing some peopleon the way^^ Regardless I will most likely use it again to try things out and learn a bit of LUA. I have tried it once and due to being able to see immediate changes ingame I was able to get a bit more into LUA than I would by doing TFS scripting. It was always a bit more appealing to see "what will happen if I do this?!" rather than writing a long tfs script and run into countless errors before seeing acctually something. Alone that aspect is what makes me say your product is definitly one of the easiest to get into. Thumbs up for that one!

I dont know if that's true because since the update 2 friends of me started to use xeno to.
 
ALSO I see people talking about the price of Xenobot but there is a way to have and use the bot for FREE.... If anyone wants information on it just shoot me a message. And yes it works on newest client

i'm sure that the bot itself is better after the update but there's been some issues after that

xenosuite gettin dcs every second day (ur licence has expired~ bug), i've got it purchased but actually using cracked version since it doesn't require me to relogin on xenosuite every second day (and when it disconnects it also breaks oxtools, so its a big deal) and it doesn't just dc for me, there's lots of threads about it in the forums and hopefully this can get fixed.
also pally targetting has been weird since binary (been told its getting fixed in new update for some weeks now)

I also miss xenomap which used to be available to everybody like a year ago? not sure what happend to that

also removing all old scripts etc was bad i think, since now u can't for example find simple scripts such as stealth ring when mobs around u and more simple stuff that should be available to those who can't code at all.

The network issues should be resolved, unfortunately these things happen.
Pally targeting also should be much better, there's been some major improvements recently on the delays and how it works with healing, etc.

Unfortunately XenoMap fell out of date, this was a project I developed solely and wasn't tied to XenoBot directly, I have a new one in the works,
but with the OT server, developing scripts, and my full time web developer job, I don't have the time currently. I do have some sweet plans for it though.

It's kind of funny that you say that because only as of recent were you even a legitimate part of Xenobot. Yes, you guys make the best possible scripts for Xenobot and I have nothing bad to say about you guys because I admire the work you guys put into it. However, you used to make money off the scripts themselves not the subscription to Xenobot which I understand but I don't feel like you should be saying that by not paying for the subscription that all of a sudden I'm stealing from the community.

Gogo open ox server as fast as possible then many ppl gonna come back to this game ^^
