XML and SQL?

Hi, could somebody explain to me whats the difference between XML and SQL servers? how do they work differently?

SQL is faster and its really not that hard, XML is faster to learn but it doesnt have all the feutures that SQL has.

Sql is way better for large databases.

I have like 25k players on my server that is in XML and it SUCKS HARD!

XML shouldn't be use as database in OTServ. It's to slow. For newbies I recommend SQLite.

i tried switching from XML to SQL it didnt turn out so well...never figured out how to make my map work
