Guide for the Celestian Realm.
NOTE: Credits go to Peonso for writing this guide in the first place, I've just been editting it slightly and tried to add some stuff.
Beginner guide:
You'll be starting at level 8 in the temple of a small town called Stonegate. This will be your main city for a little while.
- First of all: Talk to Benedict, accept his mission to kill 20 rats. Go a bit west from the temple, you'll see a sewer grate you can enter. Kill 20 rats and return back to benedict, finishing this task will get you up to level 10.
- After you've finished that and collected the gold that the rats dropped, buy yourself a pickaxe at the general store a bit north-east of the temple. This pickaxe will be used for mining ores: I'll get back to that later on.
- For further tasks, you'll have to go east from the temple. You'll find the depot over there, a bit south east from the depot is the boat & also the NPC Knuck Hunt. He'll be handing out further tasks for you to complete. There are several tasks to chose from, ranging from beginner to legendary tasks. Most people would prefer to take the Rotworm task to start with. The cave with Rotworms is a bit north from Knuck Hunt (Note: Buy a machete at the general store before going here, you'll need to cut down swamp grass). After you've finished this task, hand it in, you'll be around level 17 by then.
- In order to get promoted you'll have to fullfil another task, handed out to you by Vahlar at the magic shop. The magic shop is in the building north of the temple, on the first floor. Head for the NPC west of the temple to get a mark for the ghoul spawn, and as soon as you feel confident about killing ghouls go for it. After you finished these tasks you'll be anywhere between level 20~23 and promoted.
General information:
- It's impossible to reach Khazad'Dum by boat, you'll have to walk there. It's pretty much Tibians Kazordoon, you can find Dwarves etc. over here.
- Amulet of Loss can be bought for 25k and prevents item loss, an Amulet of Life costs 80k and will prevent the loss of all your skills, items, magic level and level.
- There is some sort of a Postman quest: Bill Hunt hands it out, he's east of Khazad'Dum, pretty much on the middle of the map.
- The Djinn quest can be started in the Bywater temple.
Mining & Refining guide:
All over the Celestian Realm you're able to find ores which you are able to mine by using a pickaxe. There are bronze, silver and gold ores to be mined. Besides that, it's possible to loot pure energys (dropped by Dragons & creatures alike) and eternal flames (dropped by Demons and creatures alike). Mining is the easiest way to obtain materials to refine your equipment. By using an ore, pure energy or eternal flame on a piece of equipment, you'll be able to upgrade it (Shields get more defence, bodywear gets more armor, weapons get more attack). You can upgrade any item to a maximum of 4. For copper ores, the first upgrade has a 100% chance to work out, the 2nd a 50%, the 3rd a 25% and the 4th a 5% chance. Ofcourse, the better your materials are, the higher your chance of success will be (the order is: bronze > silver > gold > pure energy > eternal flames).
Waterskins
Within the Celestian Realm, monsters are able to drop so called Waterskins. These waterskins will increase your skill gaining by 50% for 15 minutes, allowing for a bit faster training.
Premium account
Premium account allows you to buy houses, create a guild, wear some extra outfits, make use of your "Happy Hour" and gives a permanent 10% experience bonus. It's also possible to buy an in-game voucher off of other players.
Runes, manafluids & regeneration
Most runes have a custom set amount of charges when made by players:
-HMMs: 8x
-GFBs: 3x
-Explosions: 5x
-UHs: 2x
-IHs: 2x
- SDs: 1x
Mana fluids cost 80 gp each in the store, and give you an average of 60 mana.
Life rings can be bought in the magic shop for 700 GP each, they'll give you 1 mana every 2 seconds.
The mana regeneration has been boosted as well:
Master Sorcerer/Elder Druid: 2 mana/sec
Royal Paladin: 2 mana/2 sec
Elite Knight: 2 mana/2 sec
Hope this will help you all out a bit, and will drag you into this server. Looking forward to see new players in game. Don't let the exprate or anything scare you away, it's actually quite relaxing and rather fun to level with the help of tasks and ofcourse by teamhunting.
Sincerely,
