Tips n' Tricks!

Yo!
I decided to make this "Tips n' Tricks" thread.
This is the "faults", the "errors", in mapping that I think shouldn't be made.

This thread will contain mostly supportive things for mappers.
For example;

How, Where, When, Why.

1. How to use items from the mapeditor at certain places.

2. Where to use them...

3. When to use them...

4. Why use them...

I will post my "Tips n' Tricks" when I get home.
I don't have RME, neither a mouse at this computer.

If you got some Tips or Tricks that you might know is usable for other mappers to know.
Show them here, if you'd like.

This is more of an "How to map correctly" thread.

First of all a tip for people who's not getting their mapeditor to work with 8.60.
I'm quoting from another community:

There is a simple reason for this error, Your tibia's 8.60 .dat file is the wrong size.
I found a fix for this now you may want to check your 'tibia.dat'

8.60 Hash's (CORRECT)
CRC32: 4BEC8853

Below is the files from multiple sources for the tibia 8.60 client....
8.60 (BAD FROM some INSTALLATIONS)(tibiaclient.com has a BAD copy and is corrupted!)

The correct tibia.dat and tibia.spr for 8.60 are here,

Alternatively you can download the correct files automatically with Tibia Loader also for those who want a 'trusted' link.

I think a better and safer solution would be to download the client from the official RME site (Download - Remere's Map Editor (RME) - An Open Source Map Editor for Open Tibia)

Neon(or some 1 else), you should really help us with the red borders, since a lot of people dont know how to work with em. xd

ye neon, say me the ids you use for the mountain. for the red borders. it dont work at mine =( so it looks all the time bugged :'(
