@dusieqq
i know u use auto-border

--> try use raw...
100% better :)

Omg I want to participate to at the mapping school :D. Didn't knew it was there :).
Will do something tonight! Mayby it's cool if you could add some "common IDS" (such as water ID, Grass IDs, Stones, etc.

You can find all the common items in Terrain/doodad palette, just paste one on the map and right click and select 'select raw'.
Or you could just use the "J" function.

@up
First of all print the screen and take the picture into paint and cut the piece you want to show, then you should save it in .png for the best result.
Try to save a picture in .png and you will see the difference.

Ah thanks, it does automaticly save it as a pgn file. I tought I had to do it GIF :p. It's a huge difference indeed. Well I'll edit the picture a bit soon and after that I will save it as a pgp file. ;)

Save the file as .png, not .pgn/.pgp format.
Also upload the picture at imgland, in my opinion that's the best option currently available as they don't have any discusting advertises at their website.

Sentielo: Your piece looks good, of course! You're shape looks very good, a bit squary from place to place, but nothing seriously.
And then it comes to the details. I see that you've been adding a few grass tufts on top of items. As well, you've used wrong mountain borders at some place :)

Else, it looks good sir! 8/10 ;)

&When it comes to the others!
M4t30; A bit too much details. But I actually liked it! Good work. :) 7/10.
Clinten; Well, I've tought you a lot before, and you have succeed, your mapping progress has been great! Good work. 10/10.
Unholy Saint; I like it, but it feels like something's missing! Well, I can't put the finger on the missing part. Else it looks great, good work on the shape &borderwork! ;)
sir viet; I see that you are using autobordering. I'd advice you to don't, else I cannot see that you've followed my explaination! Sorry.
dusieqq; As well for you. Please do not use autborder to create your maps. Read through my explaination again and use the RAW-Palette this time. And please, try to just do the things that is required, and focus on them more than all the other things such as details, the bridge and waterfall and so on.. :)

Ah lol I see :D thanks.

@ Dussieq
If I where you I should start with the beginning. First try to make a nice shape, when you think the shape is good, start adding some details. Wait with mountains, untill your shape looks fine =).

I think it looks pretty good, Akon! Though, your house looks really squary. No idea why :O
Try to use some blend outs on the right part of the house ;)

Else: 7/10 :)

Thanks :p ya I know i made the shape, and then the house and i wasn't bothered to make it too big you know and i guess it looks also pretty squary since i dont use raw much, so i dunno rly good how to use it, with autoborder(tbh) it would look maybe a bit better.. but still, nice tutorial :d

When do Lesson 2 start? I'm not rushing, just wanna know :D.
I know that you can't be sure on dates though, but an approximate date would be nice, when it SHOULD start.
