Another route to go could be by removing the cleave mechanic and berserk and giving us high base damage, a haste and a good exori ico style spell. That would make the warrior a "Keep him on distance and he is worthless, but let him catch up to you and youre dead role." It would together with the proposed 50% damage reduction let us nuke down stronger stuff like dragons faster then other classes but in return take much more damage.

Warriors can get 2 shotted by cycs aswell. Ive had a cyc hit me for 55-60% of my max hp as a 20 warr in full t1.
Last night we buffed the Defense of Warriors (now our level 20 knight in vent can tank 3 cycs at the same with no fear of being 1 shot, he will still use potions though). But we do have 2 players In our vent playing warriors and yes there are issues currently.
Berserk, Earthquake, and Death Beam aren't really for Monster Hunting (I would say Volley but it isn't high mana cost... We might be swapping the mana cost of volley and poison dart because it is WAY to efficient to hunt as a hunter right now).
Of course if you are making good profit then you could spam pots and quickly level with these spells but they are more high-mana cost pvp spells.
Taunt (if you didn't know) can also taunt players. (Yes it will make a player run towards you). If this was 20 mana I think it would be too cheap to spam. It is REALLY easy to get money, on any vocation, so you shouldn't really be worried about buying potions and using them to hunt faster or have more fun.
I do agree that Gazers, Elf Scouts, Amazons, and other ranged monsters are WAY too fast, and knights have nearly no chance of killing these with profit. (We will be lowering the speed of these monsters)

Every Vocation gets 3 "Entry level Spells"
Berserk - Promotes into Knights (Masters of one handed Melee Weapons and has light defense)
Cleave - Promotes into Berserker (All-In warrior that uses two handed weapons with HUGE cleaves and a wide range of attack/buff spells)
Taunt - Promotes into Defender (Defensive Tank that uses the Heavy Shields, has defensive spells)
