first off flat is not the owner, second your not helping a damn bit, telling people over and over whats going on when they can just go back a page and read is rather annoying

And also, I respect no one. I have 5 servers I am working on, I have 10 servers I have already made. No matter what I do, if the game is good people will play it.

If I made the greatest game in the world, then turned into Hitler number 2 and killed the rest of the Jews, Gays, Blacks, and every other minority. People would hate me, but guess what, they would all still play the greatest game in the world.

Rant/Feedback incoming.

Ive been playing a warrior from level 1 to 21 and I feel the are severely underpowered/badly designed.

Every class has to have its strengths and weaknesses. The problem here is the warriors weaknesses are way to big for a nearly nonexistent strenghts.

I'll start with the one biggest problem with warriors. They are melee. Sure when I envision a warrior it is this giant brute who bashes everything in melee, the problem here is that warriors dont really get anything in trade for their lack of range, they dont hit more or take more hits then other classes. I can barely tank 2 cyclops or one demon skeleton as a level 21 warrior with full tier 1 set and t2 sword. Meanwhile rangers/mages run these and kill them like nothing. This also affect us hugely in pvp where we do absolutely no damage vs druids in wolf form or archers who use spike traps. Also, in the early levels you can only access about 40% of the map outside the city since you will be butchered by Elf scouts/Amazons/Gazers in other areas.

So, what do we get in return for this major disadvantage.

1: Cleave, while I do love the idea behind cleave, its just to weak. I dont know exact numbers but I know if I kill a cyclops while cleaving another I gain at the most 1,5-2 hits.
2: Berserk, While hitting hard. This spell is pretty useless due to two things. First its a higher damage increase to just keep cleave up for the single target damage boost.
And second, Its an AoE spell. I need to surround myself with monsters for it to be worth using and that would either kill me or waste tons of pots.
3: Taunt, Also useless at the moment since there is no use for warriors in parties when they cant tank. Why would a ranged hunt with a warrior instead of just running monsters with another ranged?

Those are my main problems with the warrior class. Now for some proposed solutions.

1: Make cleave a passive skill that cleaves on all normal attacks for 100% damage. Make the warriors "the aoe melee" I feel this would be a fair tradeoff for not having range. With this you would offcourse have to revert the recent damage buff and make sure they do the same average damage as archers.

2: Instead of the cleave spell. give us a haste/slow spell. I know heartless said recently all vocs would get utani hur. I feel this is a bad idea as it would make classes more generic. Have warriors and shapeshift druids be the melee classes and let them have the haste spells.

3: Increase warrior survivability, ALOT. This would let us be the tanks we are supposed to be in parties. My proposal in this would be to just make warriors take 50% less damage from all monsters (pvp damage needs to stay the same or we will be OP), this would also solve the berserk problem by letting us actually let us round up monsters and berserk them down. In addition with the proposed passive cleaves this would make us a nice but expensive AoE class.

4: Give taunt a bit more utility. While the above changes would make taunt usefull again I still feel it is an expensive and boring spell. Give it some added function. Maybe make the monster take 20% more damage or something. This would make us a must have for hunts. Also I think the mana cost should be redced to 20. 50 mana is way to much.

Conclusion
I know warriors arent supposed to be ranged, but they need some niche role to fill or they will just be undesired. With these changes they would become a melee aoe/tank class I think would fit good into the game. Also I know this all might seem OP, but please remember numbers can always be tuned. So please judge the ideas after the actual ideas and not the numbers. Also I know they may be better balanced for later levels. The thing is no warrior is gonna sit and level to 50 on minotaurs/orcs, we wanna move on to tier 2 monsters sometime to. And ranged classes can do that as early on level 17-18.

I guess that sums up my current thought on the warrior, gonna try to level other classes aswell to provide feedback on them.
 
agreed warr is underpowerd but only because stuff is so untankable, warriors do need some sort of bigger heal(spell or warrior only pots) or some way to take less damage all around otherwise they cant tank

I def agree with Zyber points, but the truth is warrios DO can tank more stuffs than any other voc, a mage gets one shotted by two cycs, considering the back spawn it is not THAT safe to go runnin around in back and forth killin stuff. And they DO have a role in party hunts, at least for quests.

That would make the warrior a "Keep him on distance and he is worthless, but let him catch up to you and youre dead role." It would together with the proposed 50% damage reduction let us nuke down stronger stuff like dragons faster then other classes but in return take much more damage.

sounds more like a possible promos playstyle, whichever the dps warr is
 
Ye agreed but mage need utamo vita and exura gran then :) + haste spell too cuz mage is light and weak now i see 25 hunter miss on 22 mage volley mage almost died...

Last night we buffed the Defense of Warriors (now our level 20 knight in vent can tank 3 cycs at the same with no fear of being 1 shot, he will still use potions though). But we do have 2 players In our vent playing warriors and yes there are issues currently.

Berserk, Earthquake, and Death Beam aren't really for Monster Hunting (I would say Volley but it isn't high mana cost... We might be swapping the mana cost of volley and poison dart because it is WAY to efficient to hunt as a hunter right now).
Of course if you are making good profit then you could spam pots and quickly level with these spells but they are more high-mana cost pvp spells.
Taunt (if you didn't know) can also taunt players. (Yes it will make a player run towards you). If this was 20 mana I think it would be too cheap to spam. It is REALLY easy to get money, on any vocation, so you shouldn't really be worried about buying potions and using them to hunt faster or have more fun.

I do agree that Gazers, Elf Scouts, Amazons, and other ranged monsters are WAY too fast, and knights have nearly no chance of killing these with profit. (We will be lowering the speed of these monsters)

Every Vocation gets 3 "Entry level Spells"
Berserk - Promotes into Knights (Masters of one handed Melee Weapons and has light defense)
Cleave - Promotes into Berserker (All-In warrior that uses two handed weapons with HUGE cleaves and a wide range of attack/buff spells)
Taunt - Promotes into Defender (Defensive Tank that uses the Heavy Shields, has defensive spells)
 
mage are still useless. Got less hp then everyone. Deal less damage. Minions dies in 2 hits.
I can careless i can just pick another class but the mage just plain suck as it is.
 
Mages are not useless at all, as a archer you need to aim your volley to hit creatures and avoid hitting players, mages can just use a strike spell. Archers need to stop, turn, aim volley, and then cast the spell. Mages can just keep shoot wand plus stike spell and keep running.

If you run away from me, you being a mage and I being a archer, I cannot volley you in most cases if the mage runs a little bit smart. While you can keep casting strike spells on me.
