Suggestion Bots/Elfbot Forum/Subforum

Hi,

Since otland it's about OTs and bots has everything to do with OTs, i think that a Forum, or subforum for Bots would be a good idea.

Specially with Elfbot because it has been discontinued and it's forum doesn't exist anymore...
I receive a lots of PM's about elfbot and also see a lots of threads in Support.

Since i have a lot of experience with it i would like to help people here in OTland.

Na, we don't need "ELF BOT" subforum.
 
Just ask in Support Forum.
If nobody can help you there, nobody can help you in a subforum called Elfbot either.

Threads about Eflbout in Support are deleted.

I will try @Prondeliko's suggestion.

But i still think that it's a good idea, not only for elfbot but for other bots too.

You were "dicked" because you didn't read the sticky on the board that clearly read "Read before creating a new thread!"

Elfbot threads are not allowed on the Tibia board because Elfbot hasn't been working for Tibia since 8.6
This should make sense and require no more explanation. If you'd like support for Elfbot create a thread in Support. It does not belong in the Tibia board because no Elfbot thread pertains to Tibia.

If you'd like to request an Elfbot / Bot subforum somewhere, go ahead. I disagree, it's discontinued and it should be left alone.

I disagree with this, 8.60 still has a big big big majority of tibia players, which 80% of them use Elfbot. Yes, its not being updated.. But people still use it, and some don't know all the details to making scripts and such. Just because CipSofts recent updates are horrible, and Elfbot was discontinued doesn't mean that players will quit 8.60, Or quit asking questions about Elfbot.

Yes and people can ask in Support Board then.
I don't know who deleted the thread but it shouldnt be like that.

It is outdated but still many people use it,most ots'es are 8.6 = elfbot so imo should be allowed,that rule is honestly bullshit.

Despite it has been discontinued the large majority of ot servers are 8.60 and that is because of Elfbot.
Just give a look at otservlist.org.

Still all threads in Support about Elfbout were deleted.

We want people to move out of 8.6 stage and let OTs move on. Allowing elfbot will demolish this. 8.6 has been around for too long and the main reason for it is because Elfbot still exists.

Sure I love the occasional 8.6 ot and sure I use elfbot but the reason I stopped playing OTs is because it hasn't evolved.

Disallowing a bot won't help it evolve.

That should not be each one's choice? If people got tired of that kind of 8.6/elfbot game they will move on. But if they like it, i think it is not up to you to force them. =[
Nobody is forced to play on 8.6, an example of that is Shadowcores.

I think that kind of censure isn't good for a community like otland.
