Can we get an update on the progress?

Progress is slow and steady.
We decided to take the time to get the server fully ready and just release it into an open beta rather than going back into a buggy alpha.

This means two things:
1) When the server comes online it will be Beta, so no future account resets.
2) It is going to be a much more enjoyable experience, with more content.

It was always going to reset once we were done with alpha.

And no, it won't be 2 years .

Can't say, we have multiple people working on different areas of the server.
Just the promotions will take at least 2 more weeks (i'm working on those).
Then I plan to work on making the Mini_Bosses more interesting (adding custom AI and abilities to them) so it is more fun to hunt. Which will take another 2 weeks at least.
So I guess at least a month?

You have to remember, I am working on 2 other servers other than RoA. One of them is almost finished so it takes a lot of my time. It is always the most exciting when you have been working on a server in secret for over a year, and it is almost ready for release.

No worries though, RoA still gets plenty of my attention.

Yes one of them is, but its a custom client AND it isn't released . It is being tested by some well trusted Fanatics.

No release dates, but one is pretty close I'd say.

My goal with the custom client, is to use none of tibia's sprites.
That will take some time, since I am a terrible artist, but I've been studying up on Pixel Art for about 6 months now, and I'm getting better.

If you guys want to talk about my servers i'll make a new topic in discussion... We shouldn't hijack RoA's Thread.
