You should consider doing that aswell, they reset your elo afaik, not 100% sure tho, mine was resetted to Bronze & 0 games, but could just be because rankeds aren't up yet.

U can play ranked at turkish server ^^ Its just another way to gte in to it

The thing with this ranked system is with enough time you will eventually get higher no matter how bad you are. I've had real life friends who were bronze and now are diamond just because they play a lot, not because they are good and they even admit it. It's so annoying because I always used to think platinum and diamond barley had any trolls but it turns out there are tons and tons of them because most people just get carried all the way up.
 
Ye gold is still full of trolls like silver elo buuut more you play higher you get.
