Maybe not, but as everyone I know that started sooner or later they will. The fact of the matter is nobody wants to start on a 2x that has been up for this many years. Notice when CIP started opening new servers it went from 10 game worlds with 950 people online to 30?
 
The proxy server has been once again re-enabled - it may or may not help people from America to play with a bit less latency.

Let's start on Antica?
 
Dear players,

As most of you are currently aware we are working on a new game content along with new graphics for it, thanks to work of ours 2D artists we have prepared over 20 new monsters and a lot of new locations for the update!

The new content will be soon available in game but meanwhile in a small teaser I would like to introduce to you one of the new creatures we have been working on - Undead Dragons:

Under the wretched Plains of Havoc, deep below the surface, where Nightmare Knights once dug to and made their way to their underground base - lie layers and layers of dragon lairs where these ferocious beasts live and guard their offsprings.​

The Nightmare Knights - they would spare no screeching beast nor their hatchlings, they eliminated all that stood in their way and left only rotting corpses.​

These carcasses have long been fossilized and the bones of dead dragons have lain scattered for years under the surface of the Plains of Havoc, however, when the Ruthless Seven took over Pits of Inferno and unleashed the chaos that their power invokes in all living and the dead, even the bones of these dragons were no longer able to rest in peace.​

Resurrected by the diabolic aura, these horrid creatures now roam aimlessly through the lairs deep within, willing to devour any creature just to taste flesh again.​

Now we ask you adventurer, can you muster the strength and courage to descend deep into the Pits of Inferno and put these abominations back to rest where they belong?

Another small sneak peek regarding the update, this time a few changes in the client itself.

It will be much more easier to turn on or off shared experience in your party, the option will be available under context menu:

Also, as promised a long awaited feature - a quest log with a possibility to view your progress in all kind of quests :)

Better make second server tibianic 7.4, all know most of players make h lvls with bots, massive mc, farm, etc (befoure u made antibot system) I will enjoy with friends if u make another one. There is too hard for new players, power abusing kicking from exp.
 
You were better off just making an 8.6 client function as 7.72, instead of 7.72 as 8.6.

I love these dumb people who are too stupid to realize that updates are needed to maintain and extend your playerbase. Stop seeing this as an OT and try picture it as an own game instead. Does anyone know a MMORPG that doesn't have any updates? Nope you don't because games who don't update die out eventually because people get bored. High-rates are different, it's fun to compete in lvling, have new situations and war on new servers. Updates aren't really necessarry there because new servers are always fun.

And please learn to think a bit outside the box, an update doesn't mean updating to 7.8, 8.0 or 8.6. The update is Tibianic 2.0 or whatever you wanna call it. When you played 7.4/7.72 back in the day, were you thinking "this is the perfect version, there should be no more updates"? Saying that 7.4/7.72 is a pefect version is just ignorant, lots of things are broken but people say the version is perfect because CIP failed after this update. And because CIP failed, these people automatically think tibia 8.0,8.6 or whatever when they here the word update. They cannot seem to imagine that an update can be positive and actually improve 7.4/7.72 WITHOUT using anything CIP did. fuck port hope and other shit CIP did, might aswell delete tibia 7.72+ from your brain because tibianic won't be influenced by what CIP did in these versions

When/where did I say I disagree with updates?

I think 7.4 sucks, and 7.7 is better anyways. Go runebot/MC farm runes all day and then bomb tombs, real fun!
