ObjectBuilder [10.32]

I'm not working for open PxG files, but working for transparency. If can open files PxG is just consequence.

Haha that looks sick, does tibia client support transparency :O? As far i know few pokes are transparent :) So it may work ^^

Well could you tell me then, how can I open my custom dat/spr with the program?
If I try to load it in, it says "Unsupported Version" and won't let me open it. Is there anywhere I can edit a list or configuration of supported signatures?

Go to the folder where you installed the object builder (default: C:/program files/objectbuilder) and edit version.xml with netopad

It would be really cool, if you could make on the looktype generator, that it shows atleast a preview, while you change colors and looktypes.

I managed to get it to work and it's just so brilliant and fixes so many features that were lacking in BlackDemon tools. I will definitely recommend it to everyone. Keep working on it, it can always be improved even more and i'm sure people will love you for it.

The only problem I experienced so far is the fact that it took 38 minutes to compile.
Can you add an option to compile .dat and .spr file seperately?
So instead of Compile button, we would have Compile dat & Compile spr file?

Also how can I donate to you?

38 minutes? What is yours computer? You are using extended option?

The computer is alright, I suppose it shouldn't be that problematic because of it (dualcore 2.0 CPU, 4 GB ram), and I didn't get the option to choose if I want Extended to be turned off/on. It automatically came as "Extended: yes" when I loaded in the data. I understand it could take a bit longer because we have a lot of sprites (232794) but it usually took about 6 minutes on blackdemon's.

Any idea?

I currently have 156,307 sprites, considerably less than yours, but it literally takes me under 30 seconds to compile.

There has to be something drastically wrong for it to take you 38 mintues.

Also, I do this on a computer thats just.. an old laptop (dualcore.. 1.80 CPU, and 3 GB ram)... so something is up if it is taking you that long with a better computer.

As for the extended thing... that just means you are using the newer dat structure, that has more available memory, and since you have so many sprites, it is impossible for you to not use extended (and I wonder what your base spr/dat verisons are)

Also, an idea would be to use a newer 'base' dat/spr(I use a 10.30 spr and dat), and add in your custom stuff in there, and see if you still have problems with compile times...

I know it is alot of work.. especially if you end up with different ID numbers for items/sprites... and would have to change it all in the otbm again.. and items.xml

But.. it is worth the test I guess, if it is your dat/spr, or if there is a problem with too many sprites to compile, and it ends up taking forever...

I need to get some rest, but I could get a bunch of junk sprites from Ragnarok Online, and put them in my dat/spr, and see if I have any compiling problems with a higher sprite count..

Also, how many items/otufits/effects do you have?

I'll wait to see what OP has to say, but I don't do dat/spr updates very often (i rather save up then perform a massive update), so waiting a bit longer is not a problem for me - although it would be nice if it wasn't almost 40 mins.

It's currently using 9.60 as a base, so unless it specifically needs something of 10.xx+, this shouldn't be a problem. These are the stats atm:

Are you using Mac or Windows? Other solution is the captive run time. ObjectBuilderCR not need be installed, but it does not configures dat / spr files to open with OB.
See GitHub for donation. On bottom has a button. Thanks.

There, I donated now :D
I'm using Windows XP Service Pack 3.
