I'm getting sick of hearing the same bullshit every time from you guys. @Infur @R3ignlasting
I am not saying you are not entitled to your own opinion, what I am saying is that your feedback is virtually useless because all you say is "doesn't feel like deathzot", this is a discussion thread... not a complaint thread. What doesn't feel like deathzot? Tell me!

If I went onto a new ot chaos and it didnt feel like ot chaos I could say things like:
  1. I miss how we cant kill demonic summoners by door hoping and get easy 1k!
  2. Not being able to click gems on the ground to get money really made ot chaos stand out!
  3. What happened to keys? A boat npc is cool, but keys were fun too!
  4. Why is ob halls gone? OB halls WAS ot chaos.
But if I went on their forum and just repeatedly said "Doesn't feel like ot chaos anymore, fuck it!" That does't help them at all.
Next time you post something about this issue, it better be a list of things that you think feel "out of place". If you really care about deathzot and it is "omgyourfavoriteserverlikeevertobemade!" then you will help.

And just for you I will start a list of things that were taken DIRECTLY from Deathzot, and how they were reworked to fit into the new Deathzot 2.
  1. The map. (Taken from Deathzot and remodeled to look much nicer since we have a lot more sprites nowdays than we did back in 8.0)
  2. The mall. (All the important npcs were in enigma, so instead put them in a mall area which can be accessed from any town, this helps people meet up also for trading.)
  3. Tier system. (Used to have to go and place every single item on an altar and click to upgrade, later on in end game that became extremely tedious so in Deathzot 8.6 we made it sparkling items, this time we just made it so you can simply click the item to upgrade.)
  4. Tier system. (Used to require 7 items to upgrade, each upgrade was a huge jump in power. This caused people to get confused why a player of level 1000 just killed their level 2000, so we stretched the power across 14 tiers instead of 7 this time, and made it take 3 to upgrade instead.)
  5. Weapon system. (All I am going to say about this is, the weapon system on deathzot was terrible. Anyone who tried to make a zstriker knows that to be true... the wotg parts were 1 time spawn per restart, needed 3 of them to make a striker, and 3 of those for bloody reaver, it was a complete joke. We added weapons as part of the tier system to make them actually part of your daily mission to obtain rather than a thought in the back of your mind wishing you had been awake for the restart so you could mass-log your wotg part collecter characters in and take them before anyone else did.)
  6. Vocations. (Took most of the popular vocations from deathzot, added a few new ones.)
  7. Bosses. (Bosses are literally the same as deathzot except instead of being 4-24 hour spawns, they are 1 hour spawns. Nothing else has changed about them at all as of now.)
  8. Boss maps. (This system was extremely crude in deathzot actually, each boss map only came from a single type of monster. 4 total monsters in the entire game dropped them because of this. When you clicked the map you could be teleported into the same room as another person and they could steal your boss, This all was clearly changed... now you get your own room that u can share with your party and the maps drop from all monsters, not just 4 out of the 10000000 in deathzot)
  9. Spells / Ammo / Runes (This is going to be a long one... Spell users were completely useless in deathzot end-game. This is why every single person who has ever rebirthed on deathzot was either a barbarian or archer. We made magic actually scale the way it should, and did away with runes/ammo because ammo was always unlimited anyway which makes it useless, and the only useful runes were healing runes. Then we added ammo back as an OPTIONAL consumable that increases your attack functionality)
  10. Candy / Canes (Exactly the same as in dzot, except candy actually scales with level and doesn't become useless.)
  11. Currency. (Same shit different server, only difference is instead of collecting 100 cc from monsters and filling 200 bps with cash, you will collect gold coins and be able to upgrade them into platinum/crystal coins. There really is no need for gold and platinum coins if monsters are just going to loot crystals anyway, so we just shifted the currency progression back a few steps.)
  12. Still have password doors. (Passwords are different now obviously)
  13. Still have the T1 quests. (We even added new ones in enigma for fun!)
  14. Still have the annihilators. (Just rebalanced them to give unique versions of gear because otherwise ppl make 500 characters to get free items.)
Idk maybe I missed some things but I'm sick of typing already so...

OK simple enough since u didnt add it in:
1.I HATE THIS NEW HEALING.
2.That new ore shit is a joke.
3. I liked the old weapon system way better.
4. Spells ammo and runes... i dont even know where to begin with this since there isnt even black holes anymore.(never used a rune to heal ANYONE unless ur a barb and needed to heal yourself or w,e rather of sioed on my guardian)
5.Tier system is to easy in my opinion should be 4 not 3
6. the new map isnt the best but towns like edron which clearly dont look like edron no more i think should get a new name.
7. Leveling from 400-500 wish i shot myself in the head
8.The death system i think it should go back to last era.( i pray if ur rsed u still loose ur set though not like last era where u didnt drop ur set but over 1k levels.)

hmmm if anything else pops into my head ill let you know.

  1. Fair enough, however everyone just puts healing on bot and calls it a day anyway so if you don't like the new system then too bad its staying.
  2. The ore system replaced the runic starstones, instead of spam clicking an altar you just drop it on the thing and it does it for you. If you are talking about the rates, this is what beta is for in case you didn't get the memo.
  3. The old weapon system was quite literally 1 wrath of the gods per day.... IN THE ENTIRE SERVER meaning 99% of the people playing would never get a weapon. If you are not talking about Deathzot but rather "Synzot 8.6" yes it is different and putting gems into a weapon to upgrade is cool, but to be fair, it didn't feel like deathzot to ME because I'm basing this server off the ORIGINAL DEATHZOT.
  4. I think sorcerer is the only voc that really missed out on a rune this time around. Black hole is the only rune that cannot be made into a spell. I mean I could make it into a spell, but it would either spawn on top of your target or spawn on top of you. Black hole could be placed anywhere, so yes I understand where you are coming from here. But again to be fair, is 1 rune on 1 voc really that big of a deal? If so I guess we can re-add black holes lol.
  5. The tier system at 3 is actually much harder than it was previously. The math for t6 set previously was 16807 tier 1 items for a tier 6. We have doubled the tiers to make it interesting and allow people to get items more often so t6 is now t12 so the total tier 1 items you need to make a tier 12 is actually 177147. The reason this is not going to change is because previously, people could only get tier items from starstones or bosses, and all the bosses were camped so new players never got a chance to get item upgrades. With this new system we can allow people to get tier items in other ways such as loot orbs, personal boss maps, ect... This gives the player more options, but doesn't hurt the economy of the game by flooding the server with t1s resulting in t6 within the first month.
  6. The map had an overhaul, sorry if you don't like it... I am not a mapper so this is something Synthetic will have to comment on as it is his doing. However I can say, more people like it than not.
  7. You should try to level from 8-200 on the original deathzot then. But again I assume you are talking about Synthetics Deathzot, which I remember being just as annoying...
  8. Death system is pretty much the same except if you die without blessings you have a chance to lose your backpack. Die without an AOL in the original deathzot, and you likely lose half your set though!
 
@Xagul @Synthetic_ i would like to know 1 thing, will it be eu dedi or USA. Its a good thing to tell cuz most eu players will need a vpn

I see where ur coming from i guess the wweapons i was refering to synz gem system but blackholes are used by more then jus sorc's actaully a really useful rune all togather. And with the ore system i honestly would rather runic craft with a shit ton of alters so we dont have to wait. And the healing u guys dont understand what im tryin to say i do get that most people jus throw it on a bot and call it a day but for PVP when ur a ninja tryin to kill someone else i always spammed HEAL cause of the way ninjas are made just iunno i just really dont like the way it is but i guess ill have to wait and see how it works out.

*Add some tutorial for new guys because it's really hard to know what to do when you never played it (seen this with couple of friends who never played)
* I prefered some parts of the old map (personal opinion) but other parts of the new map are really lovely too :p
* The 400-500 lvl is pretty boring/hard and imagine what it will be on full release with all spawns packed? (maybe up the exp for lower lvls a bit)
* I don't mind getting ammo in the loot orbs but it needs to have a value... u can buy all ammo's in slot for like 5 gp each so if you drop 2 bolts it's 10 gp you could have saved (if its the right ammo). So raise ammo prize in shop or make ammo sellable for couple of gps (this way its never useless)

Are the old World bosses like Malzahar be back at release? because i miss them :( :p

Thank you for the feedback. We will be doing some sort of tutorial thing to help new players, likely similar to how it was in Synthetics Deathzot. Yes world bosses will be back, they just aren't finished atm. I like the idea of sellable ammo, that will likely be added!

Make sure you got 1 gbit up/down link tho on the dedi. otherwise people with bad internet would lagg, 1 gbit would prevent people with really HORRIBLE internet to lagg as much as they usually would :p

im sitting on 100/100, So i dont have problems but i know for a fact that jake is terrible on choosing servers
 
from the experience I THINK THE FUCKING XP should be a bit higher and the looting a orb shit should be easier its getting really annoying

Nah looting orbs shouldn't be really made more common.... But rather getting less candy/ammo would be a plus..... And if your going to have candies in loot orbs.. Atleast make them fucking candy canes not these came shitty pieces
