The price is not to get something back for the project - as you said, the time spent on it is worth much more.
I just don't think people deserve to make money by downloading and monetizing stuff without any contribution back, hence a shop is not one of the features I want to make for free.

Well id be up to make servers without donations if you supply the dedicated. The thing with ots is atleast now, that we need DDoS protection and if you want a real dedicated that won't be cheap.
Im not trying to make a profit on my servers, I take out that profit in experience insted. But I still don't wanna pay 100-300 eur for the dedicated and not get those back.
What should we do in that case?

I agree with you actually. Well, I will in a week or 2 start make some features / contribution for the aac and make it more attractive to use. But why not make an shop and each user has to pay their own?
I mean, if 10 people gather and pay those 200 EUR, fine. But then all can use it, even those who not payed?

If this web engine worked for Xampp I would be thrilled to contribute with a big part of those 200 eur.

May I ask why you even use Xampp? It is an outdated piece of shit which is not even secure. Send me your skype or something and I'll help you out to get this AAC up.

If you wont add a shop system, ppl wont use your AAC...
Most of Servers are hosted on a dedicated which trying to get the money back in anyway..
Such service for 200€ you should think about what you offer...

Gesior AAC and Znote have alot of more features for now and also shop system, features which will let you go down if you act like this...
Your time is money and I think everybody should thank you, but instead of this way getting money, think about a other one, or sell it seperate or what ever..

Why should people use your AAC?
Because its 2 seconds faster then Gesior/ZnoteAAC?
People who host Server dont give a damn about those 2 seconds if there is no way to get money for their dedicated servers..
I love your AAC its great and really good, but no chance for you if you already trying to get money right now...

UniServer wont show you error page (http://localhost/api/v1/server/info) and htaccess is not working well..use WAMP instead, its great!

You can compare XAMPP with Internet Explorer, its the most 'hated' browser but still the most used one. So, my point is that its not a very good idea to create an AAC that does not work with XAMPP, its like creating a website that doesn't work with Internet Explorer.

I might have gotten my facts wrong, regarding XAMPP being the most used web engine for Windows and the AAC not working with XAMPP, but still

Its nice, you never know when errors appear, but thats how the AAC should work, or not? If that error page is not working, what else is not?

Yes you are totally correct. Sadly. XAMPP has and are on the top of used for apache.

I have to say, I've tested this AAC on Uniform Server, XAMPP and Wamp, Uniform didnt work well at all, Wamp needed some edits in php.ini but Xampp worked 100% without any bugs or errors directly after unzipping.. (if you followed the instructions ofc)

Atleast in Gesior you can turn on a speciall thing which shows u all errors on ur website. So u wont need that kind of page x)

I guess you have a certain misconception here. This link (/api/v1/server/info) is not any special page to show errors. It is just one of many API pages, all of them would show you any errors. All those API pages require working rewrite rules, which most of you have problems with.

This AAC works on any web server which can rewrite unknown paths to index.php and a PHP environment that meets certain criteria (check README.md). It does not matter if you use XAMPP or WAMP or IIS (which I would recommend for Windows). DevAAC was never tested on Windows because I wouldn't recommend it for anyone but I'm sure it can work.

I've always used Xampp and I've never had any issue. Back in the early 2007 I hosted a server that was in the top ten of Otservlist.org and Xampp work pretty damn good. I had more than 1000 active users and never had security problems.

I believe in Xampp from a experience point of view. And I also think it's a very clean and easy to use platform.

What do you mean? It's stable and usable. If it gets more attention and users, it may get more features. For now, I don't see a need to work on it.

The problem is the SHOP or Donation system which is basic in any server. Nowdays it's impossible host a server without VPS or Dedicated servers and for pay that we need donations from players...
