State of the OX Server:

As most of you are aware, we had a rough launch today. We experienced lag spikes in our engine affecting us most of the day. On top of that we suffered large DDoS attacks to our login and API servers preventing a large amount of users from logging in. There were also minor bugs related to the coin shop, and other mechanics.

We have spent the entire day debugging and resolving these issues, mainly the lag spikes. All of these issues have been fixed, even the lag. Before we closed the server last we let 300+ players login. Within 5 seconds the server was filled and nobody experienced any lag spikes or freezes.

We will re-launch the server tomorrow at 17:00 CEST.

Now the obvious:
Part of the solution for the extreme lag and reoccurring freezes requires us to execute a player reset. All player levels, skills, items, etc. will be reset. Player names, guilds, and such will remain.

Everyone who purchased coins & VIP will receive the full amount they paid for.

In addition to this, all accounts who played today will receive 7 days of Silver VIP for free. All Gold VIP players will receive an additional 7 days. All players who played during the first day will also receive a war backpack.

Any posts considered as spam or insulting will likely be removed. With that being said, we have completely wiped the General section of the forums to clean up a lot of useless threads.
