Good solo server?

Hello everyone,
I've been trying to find some good custom server that is fun and most content there is made to be enjoyed by solo players. I have limited time and both RL and ots I played so far make it really hard to progress solo. I don't care if the server is populated.

Phobos Online is not an OT but it may be what you are looking for. It is inspired by Tibia so it looks like an OT (altho the engine was made from scratch), it has full custom graphics (the best graphics you'll ever find in an tibia-like game), amazing lore and content, and you can enjoy it playing solo but there's also a very small community that plays it.

If you are the kind of guy that want to explore a completely new world unrelated to Tibia's world, but in a game that looks similar to it, I recommend Phobos. The lore is amazing and there are many mysteriando quests, some still to be discovered by players even after years of game being online.

I highly doubt it's made from scratch, looks pretty much like TFS or some other public engine.

On topic: @Oswaldd you might try the mobile game Mirage Realms, which can be play both android and computer. It's truly made from scratch in java, it's a mix of zelda and tibia.

Hello everyone,

Ranger's Arcani, not only gameplay-wise but also plot and mysteriandos designed to be solvable by a regular human beeings. The amount of content will make you wanna come back.

I am sorry to disappoint you but Phobos is made from scratch. In fact one of Phobos developers is one of the very first developers that helped with OTServer original project in its start. Then he decided to do something of his own unlinked from OTServer. This dates back from ~2006~2007 time, and that how old Phobos is, it is much older than TFS

Another project that took a similar path is Zezenia, which is also an engine made from scratch even if inspired by Tibia. Zezenia and Phobos are both extremely ancient projects, that are almost as old as the original OTServer project itself.

Oh I see. Well I doubt any of us can state wheter it's made from scratch or not since none of us have access to the source code, hence this arguing is pointless, but definitely would be an option for the OP to give a try.

thats right i remember myself phobos and zezenia i was 7-8 years old at best it was before open tibia servers become popular launch of tipitaka with so small screen that you had to choose if u want to loot stuff from monsters or see your mana/hp stats and bp with potions to heal

it was much more stable than any open tibia server back then aswell

I've been playing for almost a year on my own, self-hosted (local machine) OTs, and I have the best solo RPG time ever.

Check this Aureaglobal.se <- has been a few problems on but solved , ongoing improvements/updates aswell, It has a 7.4 kind of gameplay (make runes) old school rune system with sds,explos,uhs. Custom task systems, custom sprites, and more.

The gameserver output is 7.4 gameplay with newer content. This server can be played soloable easy, just farm task points, and get task points u can use in task shop... Find hidden reward chests in various spawns. Custom bosses aswell that can be soloable. Login and write !reward to get an exercise weapon & shield

Because I'm not the one stating it was made from scratch without having any proof, and it's not like it is relevant for the thread anyway, that's why I gave my recommendations to the OP in my first comment, no intentions to push it further.

In fact, Adposatnr actually gave nice insights of why it might be made from scratch, which may suggest my assumption may be wrong. That's totally different compared to the other two guys trying to backup their assumptions just because they are tilting reacting with laughing emotes to hide their frustrations in a childish behavior, but that's what we have anyway, 30-40~ years old grown ass behaving like that.

I mean on what basis does he have to bring proof that it is made from scratch? If I made a cake and said I made it, do I have to provide proof of making the cake or is the cake then otherwhise not made from scratch by me? I find that quite ridiculous personally.

The analogy doesn’t really work because the claim isn’t just “I made a cake.” which is something tangible, It’s “I made a cake without using someone else’s recipe.” That’s a whole other level and needs some proof. Plus, in this case, it’s not even the person who made the cake saying it afaik —it’s someone else claiming it’s from scratch. So yeah, if people are questioning it, proof becomes relevant. Otherwise, it’s just assumptions flying around. I find it ridiculous you keeping this whole discussion alive, i'm gonna stop right here.
