Good solo server?

Even using your analogy it sounds ridiculous to me, I have to prove to you I made a cake without someone else's recipe? Do I have to take a recording of me tying my shoelace as well or you won't believe that I tied my shoelace this morning? What on earth?

Do I really need to break it down to you?
The shoelace analogy doesn’t make sense here because tying your shoelaces is something obvious that no one questions—it’s a basic action, and originality isn’t part of the claim. But if you said you tied your shoelaces in some revolutionary way no one’s ever done before, then yeah, people might want some proof.

Same thing with the cake—it’s not just “I made a cake,” it’s “I made a cake without anyone else’s recipe.” That’s a different level of claim that naturally invites questions, especially since it’s not even the creator making the claim here, but someone else speaking for them. Bloodbringer even used this originality claim as a way to advertise or suggest an option to the OP without backing it up with any proof.

So yeah, asking for proof in that context isn’t ridiculous—it’s just logical.
And btw I never even demanded proof, I just pointed out that none of us can confirm whether it’s true or not and left it at that, but I'm not the one doing a claim without proof to advertise/suggest an option to the OP, that's the difference.

Anyway, this discussion’s going nowhere, and I’ve already made my point, so I’m done here.

Honestly though questioning if someone did something or not while at the same time saying no one can prove if he did it or not is worse than claiming one did something, if you ask me. That's just pointless behaviour and is what lead me to question why you even stated it in the first place.

i joined rafidea.pl as suggested by the owner here and its actually fun, if you join hmu i can help u get money for promo

recommend souls of elysium, its the best ot i have played in a very long time, maybe the best. it gives the vibes from oldschool ots back in the day where fun is a major factor in the development cycle, it's legitimately fun to play.

I would recommend the non pvp world if you're just wanting to chill, ask around for starter eq and you'll get hooked up.

but can you actually progress there into later stages of the game without other people?
Having ask people for items as a solution is valid but if he wants to grind stuff on his own he will not be able to beat any bosses and stuff reasonably well right?

i did never go past lvl 50 there as it was just too slow for my dopamine addicted brain but yeah i cant judge since i quit so fast

Oh I see. Well I doubt any of us can state wheter it's made from scratch or not since none of us have access to the source code, hence this arguing is pointless, but definitely would be an option for the OP to give a try.
I don't need to prove you anything, I am just telling you a fact. Of course they probably got some good reference from the OTServer code back then as they contributed to that one (which def made from scratch obviously) so they were pretty capable of doing their own engine (even if there was some inspiration, or some reference which they likely re-wrote to their manner later), but it is thousands miles away of being a "TFS" or something like that.

I am just telling you that, you are free to not believe it, but it is a fact. Those games are sadly not popular nowadays but are great projects

yeah, solo play is quite easy even if you dont buy premium points which i think adds to the fun, there's not much pressure to buy premium points, you can just play and enjoy yourself

of course if the goal is to be the best or to min/max every aspect of the gameplay then none of this applies
