[7.7] RealOTS 7.7 Cipsoft files (virgin)

Any info on how the auctions work on those files? I deleted owners.dat content to clear house owners and now when I start the server I receive these logs:

2025-04-11 07:43:10 houses.log: Trage Haus 50506 zur Versteigerung ein.
2025-04-11 07:43:10 houses.log: bei Reset: DELETE FROM Auctions WHERE World='Zanera' AND HouseID=50506;

I could not find any script that creates the Auctions table. Are the props for this table already known?

In the game binary, there is "QueryManagerAdminPW", "QueryManagerGamePW", "QueryManagerWebPW", "QueryManagerAddress", "QueryManagerPort" in the configuration, has anyone used this?

@kay You who are a file explorer, do you use the binary database connection?

I also found this
ADMIN_DATABASE = "/game/db/admin.db"
VOLATILE_DATABASE = "/game/db/volatile.db"
WEB_DATABASE = "/game/db/web.db"
FORUM_DATABASE = "/game/db/forum.db"
MANAGER_DATABASE = "/game/db/manager.db"

All of those systems are deprecated.

ok... so, silly question perhaps, but do those files contain map file? (couldn't find .otbm file anywhere) ? I just wanted to open the map in remere and have some fun remapping - could anyone help me with that, please ?

OTBM stands for open tibia binary map format I guess. This leak are the real files so you won't find any otbm on it, the map files you're looking for are multiple section/sector files with .sec extension name.

Hello, I've been looking into the object.srv and found out some information that I'm not fimiler with, information as such "ProtectionDamageTypes=287"

What and where can I find the different types? For example, what does 2, 8 , 7 represent?

What other types are there when it comes to protectionDamage?

@kay

These are bit flags, so 7 stands for 1, 2 and 4; while 287 for 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 256.
C++:
1 - physical
2 - poison
4 - fire
8 - energy
16 - unused
32 - poison condition
64 - fire condition
128 - energy condition
256 - life drain
512 - mana drain

Ok, lemme try asking again - does anyone know, how to open the map in RME? And... basically, WHAT ARE those files? :D Cause I don't really understand >.> Are they usefull when working with OTclient? Should I (and how?) use them as a base, when I'm doing a 7.7 ots?

They are sector files, if you open them as text file you will see plain text. You would need a special RME, I am not sure if such is available publically anywhere.

This is the virgin files, they should merely be used as a study example or exploring for fun.

If you are looking to host a server based on this your best bet is to follow and help out the development of RE engine by fusion here:

hmm, I don't really get it, how's many servers are advertising as build on "original cipsoft leak files" etc etc ? Oh, I really don't get it >.>
So, as for now it is not possible to open the map and edit it with any map editor, and they are just lying, or they are having some ways, but don't want to share them? :P

There are a few and to be fair it all comes down to what you count as ”original cipsoft leak files” this could mean anything from a fully reverse engineered engine as the one I linked you to just using the npc files, the monster files translated to TFS etc.

I wouldnt say people are lying they are just not sharing their tools or code as not everything has or will be open source.

However, positive things still can happen even without people directly sharing code/tools as proof is this opensource engine from fusion that came along cause RE engines were the hottopic for a while. Which means that the more people use it the more likely some form of RME will be made for it. Its a very young project still and people are still adopting to it, so one can only have one of two options:
1. Make your own tool.
2. Wait patiently til someone shares one.

Edit: found one that can only read the sector files, so you will be able to open and look through the map but not make any changes.

Actually better make your own tool

thankkkk you ! Now I understand :-) I wonder... how some normal popular tfs (for example 8.0) files are different from the 7.7 leak ones, hmm

and I've seen the map viewer, but I haven't managed to open anything in it... >.> It says that it can't load the 7.7 files, even though I'm putting them to be loaded and thats it :P

Hey @kay ,

I’ve been digging into the RealOTS mechanics and wanted to check whether my understanding is correct.

From what I’ve gathered, there’s a 30-point “learning points” pool that only refills when you deal damage (melee, thrown weapons, ammo, wand, etc.). You gain attack/shield skill tries only as long as there’s at least one point left in that pool.

Is that actually how RealOTS worked, or were there other actions that could refill it as well? I’ve also heard the old claim that “you gain a skill try every 6th hit that draws blood,” but now I’m finding information about this 30-point learning system instead, so I’m trying to confirm which one is accurate.
