Hey everyone,
I’m currently working on a Custom Rookgaard compatible with Tibia 7.4/7.72. The goal is to create a high-quality, polished, engaging Rookgaard experience — something nostalgic but also fresh enough to make players actually want to log in and stay.
Before I move deeper into development, I’d really like to gather feedback from the OTLand community.
You all know better than anyone what makes or breaks a low-level starter island, so I’d love to hear your thoughts.
For example:
Any ideas, critiques, references, or examples are very welcome.
Your input will help shape the direction of this project, and I want it to reflect what the community actually wants, not just my own assumptions.
Thanks in advance,
I appreciate any feedback or inspiration you can give!

What I want to ask you all:
What features, mechanics, content, or design ideas MUST be included in a modern Rookgaard project to make it worth playing in 2025?For example:
- Should it be classic-like or have custom elements?
- Should there be new quests, hidden secrets, or expanded map areas?
- Do players expect professions, crafting, or progression systems on Rookgaard?
- Is a longer Rookgaard experience desirable, or should players progress faster?
- What monsters, challenges, or dungeons would you love to see reimagined?
- What quality-of-life features are absolutely necessary today?
- Should it be more solo-friendly or group-oriented?
