TVP 7.4 Develop & TVP 7.7 Stable Full Distribution

"I feel sorry for anyone downloading it, let alone tries to fix all the issues."

Jesus... why would you drop it here then? How does it in your mind think its helpful for the community to drop something that is it not what supposed to be? I mean what's your goal here? pile on?

Just drop your version, then you're contributing.
For one having the truth out there stops more people from getting robbed on what they believe is a 97% accurate copy of the cipsoft binary? You rather I just spoonfeed you and give you a distribution I've worked my ass off for over a year with thousands of hours spent, energy, and resources.

I've said I'm willing to help the public repo I've created with my fixes depending on the communitys commitment to it. Reporting issues and bugs, but also fixing stuff. If I see that then I'm involved too. You cant expect me to jump in head first and share 1 year of work because people who didnt want to do nothing "want it".

What's really stupid about this distribution is that after Ezz sells it to at advertised 97% replica he then offers you his portfolio which you can buy as external additions which is like. "real tibia walking" but it's really just a made up walking system that is completely inaccurate. He also offers blinking skull and so many other things you would imagine you'd get with the purchase of a 97% accurate cipsoft replica already, no?

In all honesty, you can’t expect much from someone who lives in a country where their own leader is one of the largest drug dealers in the world and is corrupt beyond belief. Their country is about to get smacked by the United States, but that’s an entirely different topic.

I do believe that we have avoided a major issue, or at the very least have brought about awareness to the scam. However, we should focus on the future and create something better for everyone. 🙏

He’s a scammer and he’s gone from OTA now as well, nobody likes him there or here pretty much.

He works full time with this Neptune guy who scammed over 10 people in OTA and was banned for it, he’s a hypocrite, and an actual scammer. 😅

We at TVP, are not worried at all, Rivalia is a success, Retronia is a success, Nostalther is a success, Eric’s server is a success too, it’s this Evil Mark guy who is a failure at everything even when using the best engine available in the market 😆🤣
Scammer you're banned shush.

I've added 4 issues in the repo. You can ignore the one with formulas Im going to add that once I see the community joining in.

Honestly, I don't like this ezzz guy because he's a dishonest scammer. He got me banned from OTA without giving me a chance to defend myself. A few months ago, I started my TVP project, fixing several bugs, including database bugs, and offered my services on OTA. He commented there that I was selling leaked projects, and they banned me without even investigating. I tried to contact him, and he didn't respond, neither on Discord nor here on the forum. In other words, he crushes his competitors. I knew this day would come and that he would be exposed.

Just bumping this beauty again so we can keep distributing and learning how to not build a custom distribution, right? @Volka

P.S. 2K Posts, that deserves alot of thumbs up.

Maybe you should focus on bringing in some more players instead of constantly talking shit about one person all the time.

Don't you think that the same argument could be used against you?
No,
What he’s done is something an immature guy would do. But according to my information this dude is 30+, and I unfortunately can’t accept that someone that old behaves that way. There must be something wrong…

Lucky… the guy is so ‘tough’ that he has his husband speak for him! Don’t worry, we already know what kind of people they are… Don’t stress yourself — everything that goes around always comes back, that’s karma."

Dont worry about my server. It had 20 players last launch and went up to 270 players 1 month later with 20 players everyday.

This is what unique, balanced content and serious staff generates your server.

Unlike you, using tvp, and fighting for ezzz honor who doesnt give two shits about you. Unfortunately you will learn this truth the hard way. Enjoy ezzz and this distribution created. Its his fourth 999.9999% server 😆

I heard Project Fibula was using TVP too. They had to roll back 2 days in a row this week 😥

To compile this server, which libraries/versions of vcpkg do you use?

I'm having trouble compiling because I'm using the latest versions of the vcpkg libraries and VS 2022.

Generally, the problem asks to change io_service to io_context, but I'm still unable to compile even with the changes, as other errors continue to appear...

If anyone can help me with a tutorial or something similar, I would appreciate it, and sorry for my lack of experience.

boost-asio and its derivatives!
But you can replace boost with asio, which is a standard ++20 compiler. "boost:: to std::"
The problem with rollbacks is that sometimes the pointer has already been deleted. Sometimes it's necessary to reinforce the security of protocols.
For example, trying to send an invalid selection set to the server can cause a failure if not handled correctly.
But you can simply do a dump to find the problems.

There is no networking in the standard.
There is no replacing, it's literally boost::asio.
I see networking might come into C++26, but I'm not sure if it's not actually a pipe dream. Well, a man can dream atleast.

@aluix the problem you have is, that this year boost::asio has made a backwards-compability breaking changes by cleaning up their syntax a bit. I don't have links at my hands, but should be quite easy to find either by googling or searching a commit in tfs (or its forks) that took care of it.

Either way, he have to update io_context and stable_timer, vcpkg boost 1.89
Both work.

I am pretty sure he means boost::system
