Dude, this server is insane. You can be a mage who uses a whip or a knight with elemental spells. The map is huge and full of secrets, and the new perks/attributes systems are so addictive.
If you're bored of normal OT servers, this is your fix. It's a heavily custom RPG with gunpowder weapons, crazy builds, and a ton of new mechanics. Seriously, just try it.

I'm in love with NextgenOT!
Whenever people talk about what they love in tibia i think oh shit nextgen has it. Tons of Classes, full custom map, ton of promotions, ton of custom weapon types and no one knows a single quest found in here because their made from scratch.

Looks like it's the same archaic client, you need to type in the ip address and the port lol, is this 2013? You cant add side panels, you cant add hotkey panels, the options are sparse, gold conversion is not possible without an item, it's been exactly the same for years, nothing has been changed.

the owner tried to upgrade the client but due to source changes (i think he added more then -7 floors so map goes deeper) it wouldnt work on the newer client, we did try some stuff to help but couldnt get it to ran. If you have some solution, feel free to hop into discord and help us upgrade the client

Good game with unique mix of exploration and customization. It can be rough because admin loves adding lots of unique effects to monsters, making them challenging. The client is pretty old but you get used to it rather quickly and the friendliness of the small community makes it entertaining anyway. I have been playing every beta and season since 2023 and its been a good time.

the crowd is like 85% EU players and its weekday 8am when you checked
On top of that its quite a niche OT and you have to invest some time to get going or understand how to properly layer up your char so you dont just die all the time lol
give it a shot, you wont regret it

edit: also there is no bot in the client and you cannot train for longer then 1 hour so there is no insentive to idle a character in the server and people log out when their done playing mostly unlike in other ots where online numbers are heavily influenced by those factors

Its a niche server, we often have 10~15 players online and have peaked at about 25; which is fine really, for something that is slow-paced and extremely different from normal Tibia.
