Dear Players,

Over the past five years, we have heard many voices from the community calling for the creation of a new world. And indeed, from the very beginning, it has been our guiding intention to eventually offer more than one—providing meaningful alternatives, whether in terms of PvP rules or geographic location, so that every player could choose the path that suits them best. At the same time, we've always made it clear that this could never come at the expense of the existing world. For this reason, we consistently set aside the idea of opening a second one until we were certain we had the capacity to manage both while still delivering the same level of quality. Stability and longevity have always mattered to us more than the fleeting hype that accompanies a fresh start—and that principle remains unchanged. However, the time has finally come when we can say that Tibiantis is ready to take that step!

It is with great joy that we announce the birth of a new world. This will be a Non-PvP world, located in London, UK. Its opening is set for Saturday, the 24 of January. This marks an important chapter in the history of Tibiantis, and we know that it may give rise to questions and concerns—which is why we have already prepared some answers, together with additional information, which await you in this post. We warmly invite you to take a closer look. In the coming days, a public test server will open, its details to be revealed in a separate post. In the meantime, you may also notice subtle changes appearing on the website.

What has been quietly prepared now steps into the light. Soon, the gates will open—and with them, a new space for stories yet unwritten. As always, it is you who will give this world its meaning, and we look forward to witnessing the adventures that are about to unfold.

non-pvp servers tend to be very unpopular and boring. Second launch shoulda have been NA and pvp in my humble fucking opinion.

The thing with non pvp servers is that they are also player vs player, just in a very cursed way. In your example that guy could be treated the same way: you can destroy his loot bag, block his respawn, and lure creatures onto him repeatedly over and over. It doesn’t matter if he’s 20 levels higher. Do it all the time until he gets exhausted, then repeat.

For admins, this server is going to be a hell, not distant from reddit mods and such. Tons of millions of reports for “destructive behavior.” There’s going to be a professional “PK team” of EKs that won’t make anyone want to do lootbags anymore at some point. It will just not be worth it. On the other hand noobchars blocking respawns, tons of millions of insults, racist insults, scams, and whatever lesser humans do on the open internet will be found here.

I’m going to pass on playing this one 😅

But I guess I’m “grateful” (??) that at least they took a step toward making a second world… a damn bad one, but at least this means there will someday be... maybe.. the proper NA server the community deserves.

I think really impressive how people seem to just like to complain... Tibiantis is one of the best old school servers out there, If not the best (quite probably). I'm sure they will do great dealing with this new server...

"Ahh but lootbags will be desintegrated", "mobs will be lured"... Guys, this things can happen on regular PVP too, and worse: This same character that was made exclusively to annoy others can gang up with his friends (an army of lvl 11 trolls) and kill you using energy fields...

"Oooh but at least in PVP worlds you can kill those trolls"... Yeah sure, and gets Red Skull over 3 low Level characters that were made only to ruin your day and quite likely want you to RS anyways...

This new server is a great adition, they (Tibiantis admin) will do just fine. ;)

as with pvp servers it will be clown fiesta for first few weeks/months then pretty much full pve neutral rpg server sometimes getting killed by stack of overspawned dwarf guards

on pvp server nothing stops you from spamming desintegrates onlootbags in mine or stealing it with group of people but it gets boring after few times i mean people can kill your 20-30lvl noob char but do you really care?

Are you stating that mocking in a pvp server is the same as in a non-pvp? have you ever play a non-pvp server? what are you gonna do when someone blocks the spawn? warlocks blocked for weeks with a lvl 6 paladin with a parcel. As your example, now, a level 7 can desintegrate your lootbag so as a lvl 120 guildless with no consecuences. In a pvp server, the more lvl you got the harder it gets to behave like a retard. But I don't care honestly, I hope server works out im just saying, for me, it sounds extremly painful and boring. Even for a fresh server coming from best old school OT hoster.

A level 7 character can desintegrate your lootbag in a pvp-world as well, and what consequences do they face for real? At best you can kill that character and waste an unjust (and possibly get skullbashed afterwards). Either way, it's a win for the noob char. This game is not perfect, it's full of more or less annoying features, with most of them being "double-edged". So I don't know why some people assume that Tibiantis has to be perfect to be worth playing (the same goes for "master carding" and many other "issues" that used to be constantly brought up in this thread over and over, as if they were exclusive to Tibiantis). You are right that such things will happen, as they've been happening on every server, and in real Tibia as well, since ever.

However, your expectations are greatly exaggerated, if you imagine that we will allow some 6 level character to block one-square passage for ages. There is a rule that literally mentions this, and it's been in place since day 1. In the pvp world it was possible to block access to certain areas as well (e.g. Draconia, Kazo bless, everywhere in Rookgaard etc., you could also "block" any NPC nearby PZ), but it was not allowed, and was not happening. So why do you assume that now we will let anyone do this in a non-pvp world? It even says in the announcement that we won't. Obviously, it will require more interfering in such matters, because the community has limited possibilites of "self-regulation" in such a world, but most players will eventually learn that it's not worth it (just like they did learn not to block Kazo bless etc.), and we'll deal with the rest.

Also, you're only talking about one side of non-pvp here. Yes, non-pvp means that you cannot kill those who bother you. But it also means that you will not get killed or pushed around by others (especially those who are stronger than you), like it might happen in pvp, which also makes a huge difference.

All in all, the new world is not intended to attract everyone, and especially not to take over the population of the old one. Those who prefer classic pvp can just keep playing on the pvp world and should not be bothered. While the non-pvp one is for those who found themselves unable or not willing to compete in a classic pvp environment and were not playing at all because of that. There is definitely audience for both pvp and non-pvp, as both options have their pros and cons, but there wasn't such an alternative until now. The non-pvp world won't be some kind of tibian paradise, and we don't promise this to anyone. But it will be different for sure, and you will have a choice, so each to their own. That's the whole point. You also don't have to limit yourself to just one world, since you can always play whichever you feel like at the moment.

I have never played Tibiantis. The opening of a non-pvp world has sparked my interest as I have no interest in dealing with the stress of pvp in this game, especially not against organized teams.

I have a couple of questions:

  • Is there a party/shared exp system?
  • Are druids modified in any way?
  • Which are the most impactful custom changes?

  • Is there a party/shared exp system?
  • Are druids modified in any way?
  • Which are the most impactful custom changes?
1. No, there is no shared exp system.

2. Yes, slightly. There are three custom spells and several changes to the original spells.

New spells, unique for druids:
  • Extinguish (exana flam) - removes burning condition
  • Discharge (exana vis - removes energy condition
  • Desintegrate (exito tera) - spell inspired by the original cip god-spell 'alito tera', works the same as desintegrate rune but is casted instantly on the square in front of the character
Other changes:
  • Paralyze - takes 600 mana instead of 900 (for both creating and using). It's worth to note that the original paralyze was really strong, and so is it here, but of course this is exclusive to the pvp world anyway.
  • Mass Healing - takes 120 mana instead of 150.
  • Heal Friend - heals 160-240 as a base, which is the same power as Mass Healing (as opposed to the original 80-160)
  • Wild Growth - takes 150 mana instead of 220.
  • Undead Legion - has a bigger radius (which possibly means more skeletons) and takes 400 mana instead of 500
  • Poison Storm - takes 400 mana instead of 600
  • Cancel Invisibility - available for druids instead of sorcerers, and in the pvp world it has a chance equal 20% to break other player's stealth ring (like in the old Tibia on PvP-Enfo worlds). Also, takes more mana: 250 instead of 200.
All these changes were in place on the pvp world since day one. The most important change for you is probably the fact that exura sio is boosted by 67% in its power. The other changes may play some role only in pvp, or in certain tricky scenarios. But it may be worth to mention that the current 'ultimate end-game' hunting spot (i.e. obliterators) was designed in a way that it will always require at least one druid in the team.

3. There are two things that come to mind here.

a) Some of the original quests have had their rewards changed to prevent oversupply of those items [the original rewards] and preserve their value. That at includes quests like crus helmet, black knight, necro, vamp shield, behe quest etc., but with their new rewards most of them should still be worth completing. The equipment has to be looted or bought from other players rather than obtained from some easy "grab & go" quest.

b) The other significant change is that 'mid to high' armor pieces have their arm value boosted in order to create more gap between them and make armor a little more meaningful than it was originally. That is because back in the days no one really cared or knew how it worked, and players always wanted to invest in a better armor, but this was no longer the case in modern days for everyone already realized how little impact this had on the gameplay. We wanted to make it a bit more meaningful, so for example there is now a bigger gap between golden armor and dragon scale mail (rather than just 1 point which often made no difference at all, literally), so it also feels worth upgrading again.

Both these changes were also present on the pvp world since the beginning, and were generally received so well, that they were later adopted by many other OT servers, so you may have already encountered them elsewhere. ;) Other than that, the mechanics are autenthic to the original old Tibia.

Another thing is the custom content, that includes changes to the whole Kha'labal / Ankrahmun area, as well as new isles with new content. There are several new monsters, hunting spots, quests, and developed lore (including so-called "epic quests"). If you want to learn about content updates - why they are in place, what are their main premises, how they are made etc. I invite you to read this article. I also suggest you to join our discord, where you can learn more about Tibiantis in general.

this year wont be boring im really glad kay decided to start new world non-pvp is even better as pvp is kinda boring nowadays anyway in tibia

bonus points its 8.0 so i can enjoy op mage gameplay <3

Why the hate on non pvp? I played shadecores non pvp for quite a while and absolutely none of these things happened. My lootbags were never disintegrated, my spawns never blocked, never spammed with insults. The community on that server is amazing. The gameplay, not so much lol.

I'll 100% be playing this server at launch.

If you are referring to my comment, I was describing issues in real nonpvp Tibia 7.4 back then, not trying to compare it with a server that had a 30-50 player base (I played shadecores too for a few weeks), so your comparison is wrong. On the other hand, my comparison might be more accurate, since I estimate 200+ players during the launch month. In a populated non pvp server, toxic players are way more noticeable, believe me.

I started playing Tibia in early 2001 on Secura ;P it was my first server by a long shot.

there will be atleast one guy on 30-70 knight running with postman and stealing everything he could
