I would prefer premmy account instead of 3$ postman/djinn skip as you need one of each djinn per group and xp boosts you turn on once a week for 2h just to multiply runes you farmed for days this way server earn way less while still hurting gameplay loop by bad monetization theres reason why oldera failed dont you think?

Lol no oldera failed because the GM lacks imagination, also because there is a strange hitchance formula with mobs and he doesn't do any propaganda for his ots ever. He bumped a thread after a week from launch. The server failed for many reasons; I have no close feelings for this GM nor am I his lawyer so I agree he did many things wrong, but I'm for sure this ot didn't fail because of the shop offer.

“Failed”? Not really.

If you’re talking about player count, sure — I’ll give you that point. But I’d rather have fewer real players actually playing than a server full of AFK botters.

This server has an anti-cheat system, so yeah, I prioritize legit players over inflated numbers.

And from my side, it was a success:
I didn’t invest in ads, didn’t pay streamers, and still — in just two weeks — it already covered enough to keep the server running for 2 months.

So no, not a failure. Just a different approach

We focus on real players, not people relying on bots or shady tools. That’s probably why it doesn’t feel “good” to you.

This whole conversation and fact that you protect such monetization system over pacc & some QoL pretty much sums up ur server and clearly tells me that you will never ever make good long term you have some cool systems but those systems exists on other servers aswell in similar form probably same modules aswell and what matters most is "imagination" to implement them and balance properly IF you fail with such simple things as shop will you success with balancing them carefully?

i play every kind of server from low rate 7.4 1x to mid or h-rates full custom, naruto servers, dragon balls, pokemon servers and evo servers aswell theres different target audience for every type e.g medivia target audience is more likely rl tibia players nowadays than oldschool low rate enjoyers is that bad? shop runes and xp boost isnt that bad when you have infinite access to runes from npc anyway

on fresh server low rate 10k is worth around ~7$ it drop to 3$ over time once more people hit lvl +70 85/85 skills and weapons like giant sword surely you will do it over buying points off somebody xD clearly you never done urself djinn quest

About your limited access to runes wtf is that even a question? you can have a maker and there is a npc that sells runes but you have no idea since you dind't spend 3 min on it. So if it has to be lowrate it must be a harder version of 2002 Tibia? then for your reasoning ability let's call this server "medium not like tibiantis low rate server". I guess semantics matters that much for some ppl.
