For the record, that's got nothing to do with it. It's easy to level up as it is currently.
The problem lies with the server - one huge team that recruits as much as they can and only powergame(d).
That leaves few options for the others who do have life and can't devote entire days and hours in a row to the server. The dominant team kills everyone and everything, as they find no more challenges. Ergo, less players joining (fewer chances of leveling and/or establishing a foothold) and the slow and painful death of the server.
Unless ofcourse a worthy opponent would step up.
Enigma is ruled out immediately, a team that fights 5-7 vs 1 knight and loses 2 of its mages? Any of our team would do better while drunk and stoned (let's exclude Maikel, he's always stoned, ofcourse he still does fight better than most of the oldschoolers I know but that's another topic).
Us? Perhaps, but how to fight being outnumbered 3-4 times and outleveled by an avg of 40 levels. Even if the opponents do not even try to hit sds, or for heaven's sake - mort hurs, but mainly gfb and/or mw spam.
That's all there is to it. Oldschool Tibia is indeed an outdated breed. A mere few quality players have remained.
