Just an update and a small bump, the first players have created their characters and started leveling, they seem to like it and I can already see a positive grow when talking in numbers of players. There has also been a little map update, some fixes and the start of a new area has begon.

Seems like you compiled/installed boost wrong, I had the same problem, I ended up using a debian unstable OS so i could get more apt packages...

Post your config.lua for both servers (just the ip settings part).

Did you forward both port 7171 and 7172? Also, did you set the correct IP adres at your config.lua?

You are forgotting the server internet speed (up/download) which is way more important than all the hardware specs you're flashing...

You need to get the latest boost 1.42, just go the official website and follow the guide how to compile and configure the latest boost files for your OS, (that is if your OS does not have the newest boost package avaiable).

Hahaha this is my OTserver, and for the record those ladders and carpet are not allways like that, where was some shit in the temple that had to be removed manually, also... this map is not made by me, i just edited the one that came with the distro, never the less you can still come and enjoy...

There is no error, it just crashed and windows closes the server, you know the normal window "please tell microsoft the error: send info/dont send info"...

sure its possible, but it should be edited in the source and then recompile, not in the scripts... ps. why dont u use the UHs and adjust the script? thats alot easier...
