Remere's Map Editor with AI Agent

Hello everyone,


Over the past few days, I’ve been working on a modification for Remere's Map Editor that adds an AI agent directly into the editor. I’d like to show you how it turned out, along with some other powerful features I’ve implemented.


Besides the AI integration, I’ve also added functionality that allows complete wall replacement in existing constructions without breaking or damaging any structures.


Since I’m Brazilian, the video is in Portuguese — but you can clearly see how everything works.

In the video, I:


  • Replace all the walls in the city of Thais using a prompt
  • Replace all the walls in the city of Edron using a prompt

In the current version, I’m already able to make the AI agent build maps that are about 80% autonomous — and soon it will reach 100% autonomy.


Some of the features already working:


  • ✅ Autoborder for all available ground types in the game
  • ✅ Auto wall system for all wall types
  • ✅ Fully autonomous city construction via prompt
  • ✅ Custom styles via prompt
  • ✅ Automatic Town ID setup
  • ✅ Automatic Temple position definition
  • ✅ House generation
  • ✅ Automatic creation of shops, depot, and more

As soon as this version is 100% functional, I will share it with the community.

Nice effort, but you lost me at writing prompts in a different language than the training data is in.
If you want to make your AI "truly agentic and autonomous", you must first understand how LLMs work - here is some homework:

Not to demotivate you, but I am confident you could achieve very similar results if you just wrote (or asked AI to write!) a simple script to replace your walls - this would be quicker and cheaper to execute too. Using AI to build is not about trying to use it to do everything.

Could you elaborate? Are you legally obliged to record in the local language?
The rest of your post is in English - hopefully thats not a ground for the language police to come knocking on your door.

The main reason I speak Portuguese in the video is that I don't feel confident enough to speak English. My pronunciation isn't very good.

It's all good.
Don't worry about your pronunciation tho - mine also sucks, so I can relate somehow, but I know it shouldn't discourage me from speaking.
Exposing yourself to feedback (also critique) will let you grow. You managed to integrate AI into a legacy project that is RME, so I am sure there is room for it.

eu vi o video uma vez no youtube,mas aparentemente nao esta funcionando poderia corrigir? O projeto é top de mais, parabéns, seria interessante compartilhar com a comunidade
