no need to compile it yourself, the download linked in OP is safe. jus have your antivirus ignore its directory and the exe won't be deleted

I always thought virustotal is actually showing incompetence of antiviruses, rather than help you check if file is infected.

I gave virustotal the whole zips (.7z 's) of all avestas offered there.

I can not judge this, that's why I asked false positive, since my antivir detected one too. I don't want to allege anyone hacking and I know, if I do not feel save I just should not download this, but there is no alternative for a 7.4 Server, at least I can't find it.

i don't think you should worry about running any server in general

Why? Currently there are like ... 1 playable old school servers, and this one takes too much time.
I especially need one for mapping and testing how to add new items from newer versions.

Just download the source and compile it ffs and no worries for virus!

Steps

1. Download source code
   • Install TortoiseSVN
   • Create folder, right click on it -> SVN Checkout...
   • set URL of repository to https://avesta74.googlecode.com/svn/trunk
   • press Ok

1 - There is a bug in the system of bans.
2 - At spamming clicks on a position the player is freezes.

Is there any way to fix it?

Avesta tiene un error en el sistema de "autoban system"
Cuando me baneo matando jugadores 1 vez me baneo correctamente, pero al banearme una segunda vez el jugador solo se desconecta y puede volver a entrar al juego y ya jamás le afecta el sistema de ban si no lo borro de la base de datos.

Otro problema es que cuando un jugador spamea clicks en una posición, el jugador camina muy mal, funciona como a golpes. La jugabilidad de Avesta no es comparable con la de los antiguos servers XML 7.6

Si arreglaran esos errores harían un gran paso en la historia de Avesta! Gracias chicos.

prolly need take ownership registry fix for windows..?

get that, run it, then right click avesta folder and select 'take ownership'. should work then.

I couldn't reproduce the first problem, I killed an MC until I got banned, then I removed the banishment from the database, I could login again still red skull though, so I again killed the MC, and I was banned again, so I couldn't reproduce it.

(No pude reproducir el primer problema, maté un MC hasta que me baneara, removí el baneo de la base de datos, pude volver a entrar aún seguía red skull claro, entonces, volví a matar una vez al MC, y fui baneado nuevamente, no lo pude producir tú bug).

I can't help you with the second point.

(No te puedo ayudar con el segundo punto).
