Maybe its gonna be more interesting than Tibiantis, seems like a lot of custom work is done here. Waiting for updates and release.

Here's our new spell Firewalker.

Provided in 1080p

Firewalker is used by high level Sorcerers. Upon cast for a period of around 30 seconds you will leave a trail of flames in your wake. Anyone stepping in these flames, including yourself, players, and monsters will take damage. The fires last on the ground for about 1 minute. The mana cost for Firewalker is variable depending on level.

Firewalker gives the Sorcerer one more tool in their arsenal to deal with the world and the threats around them. We believe depending on the situation it will be lackluster or spectacular. We spent a great deal of time making it balanced, we're eager to see it in action. It's important to us to note that we have spent a great deal of time refining all Vocations making each useful and balanced compared to others. On Dura you will be able to play what you like, not feeling forced into what you think is best.

Got any suggestions? We're all ears. We clamped down on the duration and made sure the mana cost was fairly high. But we don't want the spell to be overpowered. So please call something out if you see something we havn't.

this is too op spell to be used for sorcerer extra ticks from fire field might make it too easy to ue+burst other mages this could be even extra 100-160hp wont even mention fact other mage will be forced to constant heal with exura
 
Don't listen to them Dura, they're jelaous of your super custom content, especially Wozkowy aka Adposatnr forced to killing guards on his boring server to sell cc for euro and feed his family

What would your solution be? Do away with the spell entirely? or? We thought about the tight cave scenario. 1 on 1 mage it would be very powerful, but your friends if they followed you would get hurt a great deal potentially. Also against a Knight it is very underwhelming, a Paladin a close second. Double backing would possibly kill you. And it's not really the job of a Druid to chase down a Sorcerer no? I don't know we want to get this right so we're very open to suggestions/criticism.

I have no clue about your server, but to make the spell less OP, you could make the spell cost something fairly small.. like 200.

and then every step / creation of fire field decreases the player mana
10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80

So if they keep it 'active' for too long, it will drain their mana pretty quick.

Add in some sort of exhaust system so that the player can't activate / deactivate the spell too quickly.

The above changes should reduce the 'op' part of the script, and make the spell more balanced.
 
I'd remove the spell entirely. It reminds me of orshabomba yurots servers, plus the spell is very situational, only good in those narrow caves.

Either make you a little slower when its activated

Or make it so that you spawn the smaller size of fire (so it do about 10 dmg, altho i think about 14 dmg would be dope)

Or You could also add that you lose about 5 hp for every sqm.

Well either way you could take one of this idea to make it a cool fair spell bro
 
its op in scenario when mage trying to escape second mage cast this spell and force enemy mage to constant heal or lose 100hp after few steps + burst ue potential too ez to combo other mages with this spell if u running away

We like these two ideas a lot. We're going to play around with them and see what we can come up with. Thanks for the suggestions you guys.
 
Here is a Custom Spell on Dura for Low-Level Knights.


"Coerce" will change a monster's target and focus to the user upon use. It has a Range of 1 Square Meter. Coerce can be used from a very low level and magic level, essentially once you come to Main.

Coerce's mana cost is variable depending on Level. Once you're a higher level Exeta Res (Challenge) will be better.
 
Dissipate is a spell for Sorcerers which greatly increases their options.

Switch to 1080p

Upon use, if the user has Magic Shield active, the spell Dissipate will cancel it, removing the condition of "Mana Shield". It will not cancel/break E-rings.

The mana cost for "Dissipate" is similar to "Magic Shield". It can be used by Sorcerers at a fairly low level (magic level).

The suffix ana is generally used to remove/cancel something (exana pox, exana ina).
If you intend to keep the Tibia naming scheme for spell words you can find them here:

I think Firewalking animation would look cooler if it summoned a small fire field, which gradually grew into a big fire field.

Another aspect is that it could provide the caster with a temporary (full or partial) immunity to fire fields. It would give the spell multiple uses as it would allow you to run through caves of fire (e.g dragon lord caves) in a safer manner.
