Lol gold is valuable? Make a Berserker and get 2 items with mana regen. Exana Mort is all you need. Who uses pots anyway? Most useless thing in the game. Doesn't heal for much.
Only thing of value that I remember was Event tokens. Used to buy gems for my time ring, bet I was the only one actually using that ring xD

Dumped over 20kk in dp and casino in 1 of the eras. (I have no idea which)
Wish a decent person could take over and keep ascalon up for atleast a year without the fking resets all the time.

Wish Ascalon was up now tho.. Would be fun playing it. I can't play anything decent like CS:GO because I'm stuck in a fking village.

Both of us are working right now in order to open the server asap.

Awesome. I must say, I'm really excited for it to come online, yet I hope it's gonna be in like a month, bcs I'm in Sweden for a another month and the pc I'm using, doubt I get 5 FPS with Tibia >.<

Might be nice idea to open the website so you can see how many people will register? And so we can make the Ascalon forum active. Ohh, and wikipedia?

@Gaal Yup! That's a great start! Now we know it's there, the community can start working on it and then when Ascalon launches edit and make it known to new players as Wikipedia is a great source for information.

I made this one but dropped it because I didn't get much help from staff. Won't really bother if I don't get any help with it. A player can't really do much by himself. + It was mostly a waste of time because Ascalon never had decent staff. Only good developers.

About the server progress...
This project got so much bad and good stuff in it, sometimes it drives me crazy a little

mm I read through some of the posts and I have to agree that exp isn't needed for dungeons.

The server is super easy to level even after the exp nerf. I played a few hours and was nearly 300.. that is basically all you needed. Then hit mercs / gold drags and that's where you stay rest of server. That is fast exp as well.

Dungeons are used for gems, ability stones, outfit bonuses, and that one ability changing knife. idk I forget what that is called. Last time server was on I didn't even do any dungeons because we couldn't run them solo anymore. It's annoying to login and have to find someone to run a dungeon with you. The more ppl you have the more items you get but you still have to split it all. So there really wasn't a point of stopping solo dungeon runs.

Need new recipes and ability to stack more than 1 stat of the same type onto gear. It'd be cool to see an item to add more sockets to gear as well. If you plan to have Ascalon reach into higher levels you should allow these features and more on gear to enable further character customization. Add NPC to purchase recipes that you have already acquired from quests. Remove that ridiculous floor Lava added in the depot building.

I'll rant more as I think about it. bb
