FOR A TEST I DECIDED TO CHANGE ALL MONK "SHIELD/CLAWS" INTO CLUB WEAPONS! THIS WILL GIVE MONKS THEIR OWN 2H WEAPONS (Obviously not as good as a warriors weapon)
I dont quite get the reasoning behind this. The higher atk a weapon have thje higher it boost monk skill. So using lower atk weapon is basicaly crap because our damage rely on skills....and not actual fighting. Dont forget that monk skill goes up hella slow. like 20club + 25atk and on drag ull hit like 10-15 at max. Then each 2 second u can spam a skill but ull do less damage then using a standard axe having more atk then your useless club monk weapon. Now you want constructive comment... I kept saying to you fist is useless,make weapon usable by monk anyway they get like 20-24maximum considering their skill goes up as fast as a sorc does. Plus they are using a cloth stuff with useless stat (3% earth resistant) cough YEAH...thats 9 damage less per 300 damage i get. arm1/def3 shield you know...monk are like a sorcerer with no attack power,no armor..just a bunch of hp that they CANT even heal. Once again to anyone reading this..the ot ROX....just dont take the wrong class

Monk are melee class with priest/wizard stuff....they hit less...they cant heal. Give them something else then hp because everyone know that hp is useless if you cant fight back.Cant use even use pots...no uh rune...list goes on.
Monk have the same regen then any other class considering most of the item are share between priest/wizard AND MONK. Its not like other mmorpg where rogue/monk type class will get evade and agility to actually evade attack while wearing cloth.....you need to give them something as a drawback to having no heal/no good equipment/no attack power.
Tested your update and ..it seems the formula for damage with skills is like (x to y random amount) + weapon atk. so basicaly...we just gotten 32 atk club so thats like 2 damage increase from the old axe. Which means 2 damage more overall. Which doesnt seems to change anything at all. Actually your idea with fist was really good but you need to include fist SKILL in the actual formula for punch/kick/wheel kick etcetcetc damage. Just like magic level helps mage do more damage. Just like sword skill help warrior hit more. Cause even with club we're still not getting high skill 24 club fighting at the most,which means its useless. Once again im repeating myself,we're not using weapon to actually attack because the skill gain is low which means all the monster block our attack/low damage so we rely on punch/kick. Only way to make a fix to monk is
1 ...give them better heal
2. change formula for punch/kick/wheel kick ETC -as mention use fist skilling in the formula and bring bac your old shield with +fist fighting
3. Give them better equip then other class, atm we're just useless in any situation and anyone can do better everywhere. except maybe rogue.
So out of those 3....pick the one you like and work on it. Obviously fist fighting SHOULD give more damage to punch. Thats just freaking obvious. Just like sword should give more damage to a sword attack. LOL...common sense.
4. Remove monk from the actual class and boost rogue a bit to be in par with other class.
So now you cant complain i havent made any constructive complaint. Best of luck. Keep going bcuz your server really have a lil something others dont.
