Cipsoft on Github?

not convinced this is genuine, based on how poor quality the logo is too, tbh. Also would imagine they'd have a team contributing and wouldn't be contributing under CipSoft as a whole... idk
 
It might be that they don't have commercial license for Qt, so they had to make parts of it open-source in order to meet the requirements of free license, or something.
E: Or that they've edited some sources of Qt itself, it looks like so.

It is highly likely the code is theirs and @kay is right about the reason behind it (AFAIR the free Qt is licensed under LGPL which means the altered sources need to be published). They probably didn't want to pay anything for Qt which has a commercial license, so there is that.

On a side note, they made specific improvements to Qt software renderer which is used in Tibia as a fallback to be chosen if no appropriate hardware backend can be used. Efficient software fallback is useful in 2D games like Tibia, so likely that was the reason of choosing Qt in the first place.

Yeah, that stuff does not seem like the sort of code a scammer/faker would be posting on GitHub.

Some of it looks like it could genuinely be pulled upstream.

Imbuiment, Prey, Critical, Race monsters among others.
just as we need the cip it also needs us.
