[Client] As requested: Custom Client 8.2x

[Recadra]

Start off by creating a new folder, for the purpose of this tutorial I called it CCTutorial.
Download XVI32 from http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/freeware/xvi32/xvi32.htm
Unpack the XVI32.exe file to your newly created folder

Now copy over files from your tibia folder like this:

Open XVI32.exe and load your Tibia.exe in there
Press Ctrl + F and search for 1247

Go to edit > overwrite string
Enter

Click on ok.
Press Ctrl + F again and search for tibia05

replace all links like this (give it a minute to load)
Do this with all tibiaXX.cipsoft.com and loginXX.tibia.com
(replace the links and fill up any unused integers with "00")


Save your file. The rest of the steps is optional.

To change the links the client points to, search to the links with Ctrl + F and replace them. Remember that your link can in NO CASE be longer than the original
Fill up the unused integers with "00" like you did before.

You can also change the filenames of tibia.dat, tibia.spr, tibia.pic to something you like. Don't forget to change them in tibia.exe (hexeditor) and rename the file itself too!

You can also change a few more things in Tibia Customizer, but keep in mind that you can not change anything in the .exe since it doesn't work with 8.2x

Click on 'Build Client' and copy the new .pic file to your client's directory

If you did everything correctly, you'll get a custom client like this:

Not that I know of. You could try to enter "hostname:7272" instead of just "hostname" but I doubt that would work. I've just tried that and for me it didn't work, but perhaps it works for you

Yes it is, in my tutorial I edited a 8.22

If you change the name of the .pic file, you have to change it in the hexeditor as well

But i dont know if it is possible, to change the possition of the menu that is located in the Left, to Center on Right for example?
And to change some thing In Game, like, the possition of the lifebar for example? then it whoud be possible to create totally a Own Tibia.

There's no need to update the tutorial as it works with 8.3x, just tested it. Not sure about the skin, but the hex-editing works 100%
