Server crashes and says this;

"Allocation failed, server out of memory! Decrease size of your map or compile in a 64-bit mode"

How can I fix this problem?

Upgrade your memory?

We need more information, like what type of system your running 32/64 bit, is it vista/xp/xp pro/linux? what type os linux? etc...

Distro? Player count? Swap/Page system file?

Additional system specs cpu, memory, hard drive, how old is your computer, how big is your map etc..


Is it a dedicated machine, are you running other programs while running your server?

Its the little things count, the more information you can provide about your hardware and setup the better people will be able to assist you.

Switch to a 64-bit OS and compile the server as 64-bit
OR~
boot your 32-bit OS with /3GB switch and compile the server with linker --large-address-aware
