[DOUBT] Old to NewClient

Hello brothers, i'm brazillian (sorry for bad english :S ) have doubts, i can not
find a solution in brazilian forum.

I was wondering how can I migrate my server with the 'OLD CLIENT ' to ' NEW CLIENT '?. THANKS: D

Announce deployment of the requirement of new client on X date. (Website & Ingame)
Add MOTD of add the information for the players on X date.

Once you upgraded your engine for new client, Set clientVersionStr (if your source has it, or recompile incorrect client version msg string to let them know to download new client.
