Also Fribben, before opening you should really learn to advertise properly, just look at classicuss. They have 400 online almost everyday, even tho they have shitty rep here.
They are successful ONLY because they are good at advertising.

they spam all kinds of different forums, bot forums, tibia fansites, have their own youtube channel, bought special advertising on otservlist.org, etc.

You are absolutely correct, but remember that 8.0 is different than 7.4. 7.4 is known for rune farming(and mc). On 8.0 there is no need for MCs, also stabilitity plays the biggest roll. That's where I aim at the moment, I believe in a few days I will open a very highrated server, stay tuned.

Ok, I will launch a highrate server (as for now, everything IRL life and server-wise looks good) in the upcomming days.

What rates should we use? frag system etc. Remember that it should be very highrated.

In my opinion you should also make a few things a bit more easier, like solo desert quest for example. Also remove the added damage on demons/warlocks. Demons for example should not hit 400-500 per melee hit on a high lvl tank with shield.

Fribben servers does not last longer than a month but they are still fun to play :) will join for sure
 
ViscCpp: They can last longer, it's just that I have had previous runs with rates that is not supposed to make the server last too long, it all depends on the situation, but I'm glad you enjoy :)
