HoN has been creating way too many & overpowered heroes.
Have you faced a Ra-Monarch lane? Ridiculous S2-hero combo, Immobilize-silence-stun + slow + Ra's ridiculous AOE damage.
Cthuluphant: a stupid junglehero which is way too easy to farm with and if you do not wish to jungle put him on lane with a Demented Shaman and simply push the first wave of creeps on your opponent to 1-shot them with the DS heal + Cthulu stun. Don't mention that with the free tank ability + aura slow Cthulu is an unkillable beast mid-lategame with just decent farm and he also have an AOE ultimate which have potential to do 1000 magic damage at level 3.
What else is there? Oh Monkey King? A potential agilitycarry which has multiple escape mechanisms and early-mid game with the right settings can combo around 600-700 damage if I am not mistaken.
Long-story-short S2 has been creating way too many heroes which fulfill multiple roles, look at the latest heroes: Lord Salforis and Gemini both are potential carries with their abilites boosting them somewhat later in the game(escpecially Gemini with a dual-attack passive + stun-escape mechanism).
Quite interesting how the majority of the "S2-heroes" have some kind of escape mechanism whether it is a kind of blink or invisibility, some even have both.
Where is the love for original heroes such as Hammerstorm/Andromeda? Simple stuns and scaling abilities to teamfights-skirmishes into mid-lategame.
