Long story short; planning to make a rl map server, but with one city only (the others will be "enemy kingdoms", spammed with some biom-beginner monsters/knights etc), thus I have to maximalize the effectivness of the city area, soo... what do you think, are such houses fine? Are they too much? Noobish? Snoobish? Should I add more? What do you think?

I get the part that you will have only one city and your area will be limited, but let's be real you've got few floors + / - where players could buy house. Additionally you can always provide TP to the house district - or make it more fitting to style small boat to the house island? Imo no need to place house in a depot.

Consider making mechanism for deploying depo in your home (TFS 1.X+ - [SOLVED] Can you make a spawned NPC stay in an owned house after restart? (https://otland.net/threads/solved-can-you-make-a-spawned-npc-stay-in-an-owned-house-after-restart.282034/post-2765207) tip how I made it with NPC - with items it will be easier) . Then you don't need huge city depot and it can be pretty good money sink.

Yeah, it was just quickly mapped to see how it will, more or less, look around

If the server would have more players than houses, I would definitaly make some island with houses only

speaking of deploying depot - that's very cool mechanism, but I would like depot to look alive, and that would kinda kill the idea of ppls gathering there

what do you think about the houses in depot though, does it look fine? "professional"? :P

If you want to stick to this idea then add beds at least ;) It looks fine, I don't know what could grant "professional" adjective, it just walls & floor and door. Upper pic is much better, lower reminds me broom closet.

up - any other opinions? If you read this, please, tell - what do you think about houses inside the depot? Does it look "RPG"? Or more like an orsh ots?

Myself, I kind of like the idea of having a selected few houses, which in rare cases are located in depots over on otservers if they're well mapped into it and actually fits without destroying the looks and/or functionality of the depot itself.

It makes them desirable and valuable if a server is successful
