How to change skill formula into

Hello im using this spell and i want to change formula from

Lua:
setCombatFormula(combat1, COMBAT_FORMULA_LEVELMAGIC, -40.0, 0, -40.5, 0)

to
Lua:
function onGetFormulaValues(player, level, magicLevel)
    local min = (level * 30) + (magicLevel * 250.5) + 25
    local max = (level * 30) + (magicLevel * 261) + 50

    return -min, -max
end

But i cant achieve it because it has those

Are you sure youre using TFS 1.2?

is some kind of older version, you should rather work with smth like:
combat1:setParameter(COMBAT_PARAM_TYPE, COMBAT_ENERGYDAMAGE)


then you will be able to register area:
:setArea(createCombatArea(AREA, AREADIAGONAL))
and register custom formula func:
:setCallback(CALLBACK_PARAM_LEVELMAGICVALUE, "onGetFormulaValues")

Yes im sure, im using 1.2 but this script is old so i made this script using example from 0ld server so thats why it use old functions. Can you show me how whole script should be because then i will be able to analyze that script better.
