Impossible, Ziggs is already the best.
I saw this shit a week back.. Draven brother to Darius... Epicness, Ranged DPS [525] RANGE.
*Wicked Blades
Draven's Critical Strikes deal bonus physical damage over time. Spinning Axe also causes this effect even if it does not Critically Strike.
*Spinning Axe
Draven's next attack will deal bonus damage. This axe will ricochet off the target high up into the air. If Draven catches it, he automatically readies another Spinning Axe. Draven can have two Spinning Axes at once.
*Blood Rush
Draven gains increased Movement Speed and Attack Speed. The Movement Speed bonus decreases rapidly over its duration. Catching a Spinning Axe will refresh the cooldown of Blood Rush.
*Stand Aside
Draven throws his axes, dealing physical damage to targets hit and knocking them aside. Targets hit are slowed.
*Whirling Death
Draven hurls two massive axes to deal physical damage to each unit struck. Whirling Death slowly reverses direction and returns to Draven after striking an enemy champion. Draven may also activate this ability while the axe is in the flight to cause it to return early. Deals less damage for each unit it hits and resets when the axes reverse direction.
His lore also reads as :

He first sought greatness in the Noxian military, but his flair for the dramatic went severely underappreciated. Anyway, no doubt you guys never seen a good kassadin, since he is the BEST!
Early game (1-7)
kassadin hits hi enemies with his Q(null sphere) dealing much magic damage for his early level and muting them make them unable to cast a spell. Slows them with his E by 35% (dealing as much dmg as his Q) making an escape unpossible. Now enemy should already be aost dead since your friendly ally might have attack him before a lil. So he runs to his tower.... Fail. However his biggest mistake was: he never played against against kassadin, so hell yeah now I cast my ulti R (rift walk) jmping forward to him when almost feels himself save, ignuting him and watching how he goes down and i have often drawn FIRST BLOODNby doing this!

Since our Q should now be at 5 like our E, too , where undefeatable. Seeing thie funny sion sittibg in the bush to mid lane wants to gank my teammate who almost died against teemo, so the hack im doing flash, leaping forward to him doin.Q and killong him with ease. Then porting to teemo with my R again an double E:

LeBlanc, has more range on her Q, by the time you did your first Q she will have done her combo.
Morgana, no trades she will just farm fest with her aoe, meanwhile since kassadin is a bad farmer he will have few cs.

You don't have to follow the meta all the time, you are probably one of the guys that think that you need AP mid, bruiser top, bruiser jungle, AD carry and support.
Nowadays you can see more Kayle tops that build themselves as AD CARRY, or AP tops, AP junglers, kill lanes at bot, it work.
And its all about learning to counter, I saw in a tournament, not long ago a yorick in mid, completely denied LeBlanc (another burst mage)

Thing is. Kassadin isn't an ordinary carry. He's an anti-carry. Meaning he negates most AP-Carries. Not all.

Kassadin pubstomps, and as you said, he is an anti AP-carry, problem is that if he isn't banned he gets first pick most times. (at low elo)
