MySql Usage 85% sometimes higher, rep++

Hello Otlanders

I got a problem with my otserver.
Mysql is getting up to 85-95% Cpu usage.
And this make the server lagging.

When its not so many players online the Mysql usage is around 20%

what could i do to fix this?

xampp version. 1.6.6a

And does the server or MySQL go up to 25%?

Rexxar thx for helping me out. I reseted my database and now the CPU is again normale.

But one last question. Is it possible to run the server on all cores?

Ah I see, well that explains it, the lag was from the database being extremely full with old players and accounts that wasn't being in use. It becomes a lot of data with 1000 accounts having 3 characters each who each has 100+ items.

And no, I don't think its possible since to my knowledge, TFS is not coded to take advantage of more than 1 core.
But perhaps in the future.
