Hello otlanders.

Do you guys think interesting a pack with original sprites for replace the sprites from cipsoft (with commercial use allowed)?

The game industry is very profitable and maybe you could fly more higher.

In that case, with commercial use allowed, you could call your game original. You could put your game on steam, create a crowdfunding, register your brand, etc etc. Sky's the limit.


So, what do you think about?

OpenTibia Sprite Pack

People has been ventilating this idea through the entire OtLand for years, the "last step to cut the strings from Tibia". Now it's a reality. The images here are available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license, you may freely use, just need to give credits and identify if you made changes to the work, a simple link to the repository at your game credits page is enough.

Indeed, it lacks many things, i dont think it is usable. Even some monsters there are not completed

Yes, I agree. Im thinking about create a sprites pack for those who wants to go far above of a fun project, without break the bank.

english is not my main language so perhaps I din't express very well my idea

The idea is to make a complete sprites pack with professional look, for those who want make a original game and don't have much money to investi in exclusive sprites. That is commom in indie dev community outsite open tibia servers, but don't exists nothing similar following the Tibia perspective.

So, you can become a Jesus of OT scene and start with 7.4 sprites. Please draw for us these thousands of sprites (including outfits and effects), and sell them to us, poor game developers wanna be, for $30 so we can spread them between ourselves for free. I love the idea.

I'm aware of that. If you make a real game out of this, your game will suck. I say this by including my sprites present in this package.

Don't hire this guy (Nogard). He's good, but he flakes from jobs on the regular (done so with me as well as many others), and has even taken payments and ghosted people.

We made the full payment in November and with a 1-month deadline. We deal on 6 monsters + corpses for 280 USD around.

More than 3 months have passed and less than half of what was agreed has been delivered. It seems that it wasn't just us. If it is delivered, I will come back here to give feedback.

He don’t have good communication with us, talking like 1x time per month and ghost everytime.

For now i do not recommend anyone to pay him in advance for sprites.
