OTAcademy Discord

Yeah, on that community you can't say anything bad about a certain guy, the other guys spent 90% of their messages whining about xD

the guy actually helped me a lot with his youtube tutorial about how to start 8.0 test server, but most (or at least most of the active) polish OTcommunity has some little d energy and paranoia, so, yeah, whatever, you can rot over there in your dying commune that 90% of is hate and poison :/

anyway, the one guy (Idler or Wireless on youtube, or smth like that) helped me with the wideo and on priv much more, that the rest of guys just whining and being toxic and aggresive, that's it.

if you have any sanity, this (dying) discord is not recommended
Lies, there's a feedback channel and a drama-chat where everyone can post about anyone and feedback accordingly.

I joined discord few days ago, posted on welcome channel and got banned? Idk what happened, cant join back... How to get unbanned?

Hey, sorry about that. I mistook you for a botted account. The ban is removed.

Last few months we were dealing with spammers that were joining, sending a single message on default channels then instantly jumping to spamming dms, pretending to be artists for hire. They are not even tibia related, they join thousands of popular servers and their engagement is automated until an user replies. They operate in patterns, but are difficult to detect due to their malicious activity being primarily outside of the server itself. They are like those scam call centers - contacting thousands of users simultaneously.

For context, this is what it looks like on their end:

This actually highlights a good idea: a trusted developers list based on server owners’ ratings/vouches.
It would help newbies find reliable people, reduce DM scams, and avoid cold-DMs from legit devs.

Who do you put on the list tho? @Ezzz, @zbizu or yourself?
“Reliable” as in "Reliably introducing two new bugs to solve one", I suppose.
No cap, all you can reliably do is resell the same smelly modules, but never actually fix them.

Stop advertising paid resources. If your roof is leaking, find an actual job.

My modules aren’t hated or bug-ridden, and I don’t recycle the same work. Anyone familiar with my work knows that. I actively maintain and improve what I release, and I’ll be showing new work and new modules very soon as part of a larger project.

Also, having known contributors is still better than dealing with random scammers. At least people know who they’re dealing with and can judge based on real history and feedback.

I'm interested in the topic because I've been learning about OTS for a month now, I joined OTAcademy about 3 hours ago - I asked a question and now I want to see if anyone answered and I see that I'm banned, I don't know the reason...

yeah, I wish too :D This polish OTA community seems disgracefull (and at least one of them is an admin) - all their messages, if they even do write any, is whining about some guy and how much they hate him xd

and aparently "the hated guy" (if you don't hate him active enough, you got banned) just shared on github some bugged shit he bought from some OTA admin or someone (and got scammed, cause it was bugged and worthless btw) xd yeah, there are some real polish internet warriors power tripping there ;_;

The person you are mentioning is unbanned. 😝

Yeah, we are also working on resurrecting Hitler, but for some reason he always comes back gay and we have to try again and again...
I think u should try doing it without ezz and the result will differ.
