Portforwarding Issue

Recently I port forwarded my OT and only people that are connected to my ip can play. The problem is people that are not connected to my ip cannot log in to the server.

I port forwarded ports - 7171
- 7172
- 8000

My router is the D-link 655-extreme (if that helps)

Is this your router? Port Forwarding Otserv on the Dlink DIR-655

You need 7172 forwarded also

Please take a look at the first post i already said that i port forwarded 7172, 7171, 8000, and just now i did 3306.

If you already did that, then you need to open them in Windows firewall too.

Remember to add your distro into the Firewall allowed programs.
Im 9,99% sure about this will work.

Check if your firewall has blocked it OR try allowing it...

if that doesn't work, try portforwarding port 80.

80 is web port, nothing to do with this.

yeah that's right but I had the same problem as you, then I tried port forwarding 80 and it worked

might just be a coincidence

I'm not really sure what you meant but i went to Control panel > Firewall > Add programs through firewall.

I added Armonia

Then i added ports- Otserv01 for 7171 TCP& 7171 UDP
Otserv02 for 7172 TCP & UDP
Otserv 03 for 8000 TCP & UDP
Otserv 04 for 3306 TCP & UDP

yeah since it's the Mysql port, i heard i am suposed to port forward.

Your not supposed to forward 3306 if the mysql server is localhost.

Mainly 7171 and 7172 or if you want a website also open port 80.

I just closed port 3306 and i have 8000,7171 and 7172 open. Still no luck.

choose your modem/or install the program.. Or (Delete Service Pack 2) sometimes it helps ( for me in COD 6 - count connect to any serv)

You do not use your global ip?
Go to What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address copy that ip i config.lua

I am using my global ip, just not to personally connect to my server i use 127.0.0.1
