Question About MySQL

I'm sure it's possible, but is there anyway of connecting to a MySQL database on my web site host instead of installing MySQL on my computer?

Which application are we talking about? If you mean in an OpenTibia server, you can specify your website host as mysql host in config.lua and it should work if your website host allows mysql connections outside localhost (if it doesn't you should be able to enable it in mysql server config).

You can allow remote connections, but what would I use as the host?
