Hello OTLanders!
Are you passionate about OpenTibia development? Do you want to be part of something unique, ambitious, and never-before-seen in the OT scene? Then this project might be exactly what you're looking for!
I am currently assembling a team to develop a fully customized OpenTibia server with a primary focus on PvP and War mechanics. My goal is to introduce fresh, innovative systems that redefine how wars and combat function within OpenTibia, setting a new standard for competitive gameplay.
Currently, my primary focus is Python and web design (various languages), with proficiency in C# as well. These skills will be leveraged to create custom features for the OpenTibia client, including a custom-built anti-cheat system and enhanced interface menus.
If you're interested, reply to this thread or send me a private message with:
Looking forward to hearing from you all!
Regards, ramsez!
Additionally, I wish I could provide more pictures related to this thread. One of my almost finished OT projects, which I worked on solo for six months, was unfortunately deleted along with all data. It was a fully customized server featuring a custom map, unique systems, a modified client, interfaces, launchers, anti-botting created in seperated programming language (not anything lua related netiher from server or client) -- and more.
The forum pictures I have shared are purely for design inspiration, as I appreciate well-crafted interfaces and aesthetics. While I’m not a fan of Discord, I plan to update this thread with more images from my latest work if I find them.

Why Join This Project?
- Completely Unique Features – This will not be just another OT server. We are building something truly fresh, never seen before in the community.
- Structured Teamwork – We will split objectives efficiently so that everyone can contribute based on their expertise, making development smooth and effective.
- Well-Defined Vision – The project already has a strong foundation and direction, ensuring we stay on track and reach milestones.
- Aiming for Quality & Longevity – This isn’t a short-term project. The goal is to develop a long-lasting server with a stable, dedicated player base.
Who Am I Looking For?
We need passionate and skilled individuals who are serious about working on a high-quality OT project. Here are the key roles I am recruiting for:- C++/Python/LUA Developers – To build and optimize unique systems, combat mechanics, and server-side improvements.
- Game Designers – To help refine the PvP/War systems, balance mechanics, and create an immersive experience.
- Mappers – To craft dynamic war zones and custom maps that enhance competitive gameplay.
- Pixel Artists – To design custom sprites, UI elements, and visual assets.
- Testers – To rigorously test mechanics, ensuring smooth and balanced gameplay.
About Me & My Experience
I am 27 years old from Sweden. I have been developing OpenTibia servers since 2011, when I first started coding LUA as a 12-year-old script kiddie for Counter-Strike: Soruce back when you could modify the game using Lua Hooks, other than that I made a lot of mods for Grand Theft Auto. Over the years, I have created more than 30 OpenTibia servers, some of which included top-tier community mappers. I am deeply passionate about server development, scripting, and continuously expanding my skills by exploring new programming languages and solving complex challenges. I am also interested in decompiling software to look under the hood, and bug bountying, like when I explored the Paypal System bug in GesiorAAC many years ago which were critical bug. Everything related to programming and becomes a challenge is what I live for.Currently, my primary focus is Python and web design (various languages), with proficiency in C# as well. These skills will be leveraged to create custom features for the OpenTibia client, including a custom-built anti-cheat system and enhanced interface menus.
Concept Highlights:
Here are a few teasers of what we are working on:- Reworked Combat Mechanics – A dynamic, skill-based PvP system where strategy matters more than ever.
- New War Features – Custom team-based objectives, ranking systems, and battle progression.
- Unique Rewards & Progression – A new way to incentivize players to participate in wars while keeping the economy stable.
- Custom Maps & War Zones – Areas designed specifically for high-intensity PvP battles.
- Advanced Guild War System – More than just frags; we are introducing strategic elements to make war fights more immersive.
What’s Next?
I believe that with the right team, we can bring this vision to life and create a server that stands out in the OpenTibia community. If this concept excites you, let's talk! I am looking for dedicated and passionate individuals who share the same vision. If you're interested, reply to this thread or send me a private message with:
- Your skills and experience.
- Your availability and interest in the project.
- Any previous projects you’ve worked on (if applicable).
Looking forward to hearing from you all!
