Is there a way to remove 'Skills' tab? or make it not work? i dont want it to show progression, experience, level etc.

I would recommend trying to learn some about reverse engineering and assembly, you can make miracles happen with a simple debugger such as ODBG (Olly Debugger). In theory you can just find the the skillwindow and NOP out the function which opens the window.
