Many people have done it but what does that have to do with the server getting ddosed? xD

They are trying thei rbest to solve the situation meaning be patience =)

The server went down yesterday around 17.45 CET. At first I thought it was because of heavy DDoS attacks, but then the traffic report showed 0 bytes.

I contacted the hosting company, and they couldn't reach the server by ping, and it didn't respond to keyboard inputs, that was why I couldn't restart it through the control panel.

They had to make a manual restart to make it work again, but don't worry, no data was lost!

I am really sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you will kindly overlook this.

Patch 1.4 is here, with a lot of bug fixes along with a new function: Players that is inactive for 14 days will lose their house, and the items will be sent to the depot. So if you have your sub char as the owner of the house, make sure to login at least once every two weeks!

Bug fixes:
Monsters:
*Elder Beholders' hitpoints fixed
*Lizard Chosens' damage increased
*Plaguesmiths' damage decreased
*Frost Dragons' ice tornado spell added
*Lizard Legionnaire drops corrected
*Necromancers maximum summons changed from 4 to 2
*Ghastly Dragons' run speed decreased, and they will no longer run at low health
*The corpses of the new monsters will now decay

Map fixes:
*Vengoth is now in the right place and connected with Zao
*A few houses in Carlin, Ab'Dendriel and Yalahar fixed
The teleport beneath Goroma fixed (the shortcut to the Morgaroth spawn)
*Missing Dwarf Guard spawn in the dwarf mines added
*Beatrice (the tool NPC) added to Ab'Dendriel
*The bugged map tiles over the Svargrond Arena fixed
*Monsters added to the cave beneath Ab'Dendriel

Other:
*Heal friend (exura sio) will no longer remove haste
*Protected players can no longer push unprotected players
*Inactive players will lose their house if they haven't been online for 14 days

I've added the Water Elemental spawn that was implemented on the official Tibia servers in 8.5. It is located beneath the Tiquanda jungle, north of Port Hope!
