I actually gave that really much thought and this is just a mere surface display and some beginner's insight into lore and looks of some places. Other than cities (whom you will get to explore fully anyway), you can't see really much of any of those places, especially what they hide within and the other interesting things that you may learn and experience if you venture there in person.

It's like in real life, you can watch pornographic images on the internet all you want, you can see everything, can't you?
But that's still nothing like the real thing.

bad example. You don't "feel" the map.

BUT it's like looking at paris on google street view. It isn't the same as being there.

It doesn't have anything with that, it's just that the real thing is different than a preview. And I do feel the maps, my friend... I do. (not literally)

I don't think an estimated time should be given, it will most likely be wrong and then people start raging because it gets delayed.

It will take exactly twice as long as half the time to finish it.

Well, from now on I'll post here regularly when an update is coming up, but you'll have to read the full update on the website since the text is often too long to post here. :3 There is a special date coming up in less than 2 months and I'm thinking about doing something with it, at least put an open beta at the time, however, we'll have to see how the server progresses until then. The summer vacation is really kicking in though, and that's positive in this context 'cause I'm working like mad on the sprites and map.
